1) You Think AFL crowd are largely inflated by games in Victoria, which houses 10 of the 18 teams. Are you a Maths professor? Your league is inflated by Brisbane alone (1 of 16 teams).Dogs wrote:Thankyou for supporting the facts with links soccerfan4ever. So NRL is increasing crowd number for the last few years, whilst AFL is on the decline, with the exception of the first 3 rounds of this year. Yep that is true. Thanks for pointing it out with links. Lets be honest soccerfan4eve, AFL crowds are largely inflated by games supported in Victoria or victoria expats that have moved from the shiithole or ******** who have been manipulated other people like Drac admitted in another thread. By the way heres the link, something you WON'T do http://stats.rleague.com/AFL/crowds/summary.html and http://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/summary.html
dragged 14 people to a game I think it was that he mentioned. Sorry Drac, but you admitted this yourself, when you suggested you were dragging 14 people to a game. I have been sucked into this myself by a AFL fan to a Brisbane game. You have got to go to a game to appreciate it he says, you have got to see what is going on in back play to appreciate it he say, yeh I was so impressed, I never went again. If the game is more interesting because of what goes on off the ball, then that prooves alot to me about your game. If you have to convince people to go to a game, so do that.
1) well duuurrrhhhhhh ...... 12K in Tas, 11K on the GC( and seriously that crowd was doubledDrac wrote:1) You Think AFL crowd are largely inflated by games in Victoria, which houses 10 of the 18 teams. 2) Let me see if I have this straight, you think our propensity to spread the word of the game and support our sport when we move interstate is a negative? How could it possibly be a negative? And when I say dragged, I mean that I brought along people that ordinarily wouldn't go to an AFL game. By doing this (and in conjunction with footy tipping and super coach) I've made some successful conversions from throwball and diveball.
