what happened there?
But Dave, why all the excitement **** NRL fans? I thought crowds weren't important?
The truth is the NRL are busting for decent crowds, absolutely busting for them. Shame they come around so very infrequently, leaving Dave a very angry and frustrated little man.

worried that a VFL game in Sydney today , that would have drawn 50K minimum a few years back even if the Swines weren't the premiers
will be lucky to get half that number in 2013
deflection will not work here
what is going on with the victorian game outside its heartland marcus
I have a word which may explain it
decline ..............

So RD prediction for today's GWS game is 25k. I think it will be closer to 40k with 35-40 a really good result. Lets see how it goes.

yes
& your last effort ?
the prelim final last year
80K you said
& it was 57K
but please by all means continue to make a cock of yourself
your own CEO ... Andy D yesterday I think , said he didn't think they'd get 30K based on ticket sales
I have info that he will be right
but lets wait & see
35K would be a pass mark
anything less then 30K deserves derision & ridicule & thats just what it will get

lets have a ganda at NRL total attendances after 4 rounds since 2004 & examine if in fact they are a cause for major concern , or in fact
Bearsy is a complete fucking wanker
2004 ( 28 games ) 448,814
2005 (28 games ) 492,265
2006 (28 games ) 512,912
2007 (32 games ) 581,801
2008 (32 games) 601,020
2009 (32 games) 596,379
2010 (32 games) 573,179
2011 (32 games) 572,739
2012 (32 games) 539,480
** 2013 (27 games so far ) 510,399
anyone care to bet 2013 won't be the most attended season since 2004 after this round is complete ?
anyone ?

Wrong as usual Dave I predicted 50k after the forecast of rain ended up with 57k
This is just after the game.

hmmmm
so
60K crowds a few years back .... lets say 25K swines members attending ( so already paid for a seat )
& another 5K to 7K stadium members also in free of charge
leaving 30K members of the general public
in 2013
we have ... 11K midgets members lets say 5K stadium members ....
leaving about 10K payers for todays game
where'd the other 20K go ?
I mean even if the swines members don't attend as its not a home game for them..... ova 20K people who were there just a few short years ago
have dissapeared
Cough** Decline ** Cough

The same thing applies to numerous teams! Why the decline in broncos crowds? Why the decline in warriors crowds?
60k home game for swans in 2007 (on the back of 2 GF performances) would be 25k swans members, 10k visiting away team like Collingwood, and 25 paying general public in Sydney.
The giants v swans will be 7k giants members, 3k giants general public, 20-25k swans general public.

Why the decline in broncos crowds? Why the decline in warriors crowds?
:
the Broncos averaged 33,400 last year & they had a pretty woeful year
their highest at the new suncorp is just 35,000
the warriors averaged 17K in 2012 .. their highest since 1996
seriously
do you know any fucking thing ?

so we had 50K swines members & general public in 2007
when they were a top side around 2006/2007
&
in 2013 they are again a top side .. hell , they're the best as they are the premiers
but we have just
20 to 25K swines & general public
again
the missing 25K to 30K from a few years back ........ where the fuck did they go ?
decline

Bit slow on the uptake Dave
The 25k swans members don't get access. Therefore 10k giants members and 20-25k swans general public will be expected just like last year. Go giants! =D>

Lol, it was the perfect storm of nothing to do anywhere and everything to do somewhere.
Good Friday, so shit was closed, f**k all to do. Was a beautiful day, plus the Easter Show had its traditionally busiest day.
an NRL fan posted the above on LU and its dead right. =D>
Expect the NRL crowds to return to their dreadful low from today onwards
