In summer for sure

 One quarter of the year.

Thanks Xman the jury's out on this one. KE's statement is fact.
melbourne weather is dull, cold, grey and rainy in comparison to sydney
:\:

A valiant try there Xman. But defending melbournes weather was never gunna get ya nowhere pal.
ke, the entire discussion started with you claiming Melbournians werent used to hot weather. When exactly does that occur? :-k

Nope they're not used to hot weather. They're more used to cold drab grey dull rainy weather, because thats what they get more often. Comprehende?

I showed you our summers are just as hot, and in fact sunnier and drier than Sydney. How are we not used to our own summers?

Ahh correct me if I'm wrong Xman, but summer lasts just three months of the year right? Actually you only cited 2 months supporting your stance. I'm saying melbournites arent used to the hot weather because, during the other seasons, its chilly, drizzly, bleak, damp and depressing. They're more used to it being like, because, well, its like that most of the time. Comprehende?

Melbournians are accustomed to the whole 4 season in one day concept KE. We tolerate the heat and the cold.

You have ignorantly claimed Melbourne is cold and bleak which couldn't be further from the truth. 3 months are hot, 3 are cold, and 6 are absolutely perfect.

Yep, that's what's usually said about Sydney. Great place to visit, shit place to live.

I thought it was common knowledge that it rained more in Sydney than Melbourne.

Everytime I have been to Melbourne lately, it has been great weather, yet when u look at Sydney on TV it is always raining.

haha Good thread this one King

In Sydney we have tropical rainfall which comes often in storms and large short dumps of rain, which is cool. In melbourne it is much more drizzly, cold, grey and drab than in Sydney. Drizzle is not really 'rain', its soft and depressing. Just very light wetness which creates a damp dank atmosphere. Melb gets that heaps and it's population is more used to this than sunny hot weather. And by hot I mean over 30 degrees, which the melbournites the last few weeks visibly showed they arent used to... You know it's all true what i say melbournites, just accept it....k?

Be strong and own it folks. I can own that sydney is polluted, shite to get around town, less cultured and more pretentious than melb. I can own and acknowledge this because I'm not an ignoramous, like you all look right now...k?

Excuses. it rains more in Sydney. The rest is just a false stereotype created by Sydneyites.

No not a false stereotype at all. I'm going off the reports I've received from countless melbournites over the years, many of them having lived in both sydney and melbourne. You are clearly quite ignorant to the climate you live in pies. Disappointed in you [-X

Yes thankyou pies. Look at all those cloudy days you poor bastards receive. More than a full month extra to sydney bringing damp drizzle and depressing the public. And I'd put my left testicle on it that those cloudy days in melbourne are most often much more cloudy, dark, grey and dull than the cloudy days here in sydney.

It's the truth and you poor bastards know it, just acknowledge it folks. It's not so hard, I acknowledge the pitfalls of sydney all the time....because im not ignorant :D

Comon guys, its time to open your arms, stop doing these ones [-( like a lil 4 year old who doesnt wanna eat his veggies and be at one with the truth.

Besides I have other 'short notes' to provide, this thread is not just about the weather you know
