Melbournians are accustomed to the whole 4 season in one day concept KE. We tolerate the heat and the cold.

I thought it was common knowledge that it rained more in Sydney than Melbourne.

Everytime I have been to Melbourne lately, it has been great weather, yet when u look at Sydney on TV it is always raining.

In Sydney we have tropical rainfall which comes often in storms and large short dumps of rain, which is cool. In melbourne it is much more drizzly, cold, grey and drab than in Sydney. Drizzle is not really 'rain', its soft and depressing. Just very light wetness which creates a damp dank atmosphere. Melb gets that heaps and it's population is more used to this than sunny hot weather. And by hot I mean over 30 degrees, which the melbournites the last few weeks visibly showed they arent used to... You know it's all true what i say melbournites, just accept it....k?

Be strong and own it folks. I can own that sydney is polluted, shite to get around town, less cultured and more pretentious than melb. I can own and acknowledge this because I'm not an ignoramous, like you all look right now...k?

Yes thankyou pies. Look at all those cloudy days you poor bastards receive. More than a full month extra to sydney bringing damp drizzle and depressing the public. And I'd put my left testicle on it that those cloudy days in melbourne are most often much more cloudy, dark, grey and dull than the cloudy days here in sydney.
