As ive stated several times now there is much more at play here including the credibility of the AFL, an organisation which runs a reality tv style experiment within its own professional competition and the credibiliy of the suns. Sure the interest was there last year, and will remain this year but those with foresight will know this farce will implode on itself once the everyday run of the mill public clicks on that khunt simply lowered the quality of the comp and the suns and that the AFL did it simply as one big promotional drive.
All the while there's thousands of young up and comers who would kill for khunts spot, THOUSANDS who are more skilled and could deliver on field success for the suns. For shame, for shame

Sure they would kill for his opportunity, but are they as good?
I'm sure the Suns would prefer KHunt, who has the name and media interest to bring in members and sponsorship, over some kid with a similar impact on the field.
oh well why don't they go & sign Justin Beiber
he'd be only slightly less effective then khunt ......... but even more exposure for the Thuns
the VFL... ZERO Cred

Ahhh, wasn't KHunt a RL star? Didn't you just compare his sporting abilities to Justin Beiber?
One of your classics that's for sure!!

That's gold! Justin Beiber would be an awesome 'project'! Someone get me the fat men down at AFL HQ on the phone right now!

Imagine the influx of teenage girls who would flock to the games? He may not be that good at first but we'll make sure everyone focusses on his 'improvement' and the things he can do well, like sing the team song.

There's really little difference in Raiders suggested 'project' Xman

Justin Beiber is equally capable athletically to Karmichael Hunt, a RL star!?!?
Gold!!

Not really saying that Xman but if the AFL employed Beiber and gave him a full season in the lower division he'd 'improve' pretty good and not be far off Khunt in re to performance on the field. He'd get a few cheeky handballs away, wouldnt take a contested mark, and might get his toe to a few during the match, so yes Xman Beiber wouldnt be far off Khunt in terms of capability if this helps you understand.
If we were to go the other way around and the NRL were foolish enough to develop a 'project' and recruit say a Dale Thomas then someone like Nikki Webster would also be a fair and comparable choice for the nrl to take on as a 'project'. She'd get the odd kick and a few passes in each game, much the same as Dale would... before getting absolutely smashed
Actually comparing the muscle structure in both their arms, nikki would prob be a better player on the field making her promo value considerably better.

Ah yes. You are definitely comparing Justin Beiber's sporting abilities to KHunt.
You're as stupid as they come!

To begin with Dale Thomas is 185cm and 86kg. If you honestly think he would have the same skills and impact in RL as Nicky Webster you clearly know nothing about RL to go with your complete lack of knowledge about ARs!
Secondly I can imagine Dale Thomas would be pretty handy at leaping above most players to catch the ball in the try zone. Nicky would be lucky to jump off the ground.
These examples are not questioning the credibility of the AFL, they are helping you lose any shred of credibility you had as a sports fan!

Strength is what is required in league xman and the photos clearly show nikki would outmuscle dale any day of the week.
Look Xman dont get me wrong both would be very poor propositions for RL, as Khunt has been for Marngrook, I'm just saying nikki would prob do better than dale at the game. Her shoulders look broader also and her background in dance means she'd be fairly athletic too with some leaping ability. Apart from his ultra waif like physique dales running style on the beach is awful and uncoordinated. He'd really really struggle on the league pitch.
In the end though I say good on the AFL for having a dig and spending their hard earned to lose their cred by putting on such an amusing spectacle as Khunt aka golddigger getting rings run round him week in week out.

You're on fire today!
First you've compared Justin Beiber athletically to KHunt
Then you've compared the athletic abilities of Nicky Webster, a female professional entertainer, to DaleThomas, a professional footballer.
Now you're claiming you can tell how strong someone is by looking at their picture!
Have you lost your antipsychotic meds again?

hmm
thats a fair enough one for mine ............
get em in the gym for a weights lifting challenge
Niki would be pretty short odds to win it ... & would win it

That's right raider, in the gym or on the RL field nikki webster'd have the edge over thomas.
Xman I said Bieber, given a full season of training would compare fairly closely to Khunt in the AFL comp. If only the AFL could afford him I reckon they'd be bold enough to give it a shot.
Unfortunately folk down at NRL HQ seem more grown up in their decisions and we'll never see the likes of dale thomas or nikki webster in the NRL. But man, apart from the loss of credibility to the code and some poor player missing out on his chance, the promo/media value would definitely more than make up in $$$. And apart from the free media promotion, you'd have millions of AFL folk from melb or pop stars just desperate to play the game... wouldnt you Xman??? [-o<

This has been mentioned a thousand times before, why would any AFL star leave to go to the NrL when they would need to take a pay cut? Have you seen the NRl expanding in to AFL heartland areas recently?
So classic statement number 4 for you today: if Justin Beiber had a full season of training he would be as good as KHunt!

:
not the point .. even if the NRL could afford it .. they wouldn't make a mockery of their comp & treat their up & coming talent with such disdain
for you see . unlike the VFL.. the NRL is not an egotistical organisation full of W@nkers desperate for their code to be liked & accepted by people outside of its heartland ..
we're confident enough in our product
it seems the VFL is not in theirs
oh dear

Xman stay with it will you man! We're talking about if the reverse happened hypothetically, the NRL would never make such an obvious error.
And did you delete those images of nikki webster for the shame she put on dale thomas?

No, not at all.

the NRL and Sydney media arent trying to use this opportunity to a call it a war to try to strengthen and enhance their following in heartland regions at all are they?
