Lol a Twitter is hilarious .
People asking if all the fans are out the back in catering tents
Or did the buses get lost on the way to the ground ?

One of my faves is the AFL propaganda Dept should be disbanded .
They've gone too far this time
Got any proof yet?

I mean no proof is ever good enough for the nrlol and their stretched numbers yet you loons are in hissy fits over the afls numbers

Havent looked it up but probably. Most of these games are played later in the day or at night. Saturday afternoon not a great time for this,
Yeah, I agree Wookster. Bad timing. Bad scheduling. Bad Gilty. This game should be a highlight of the Sydney sporting scene. I can't believe only 3k attended. What happened pal?????

Considering form of the Swans this season and $60 ticket prices for cheap seats after all the GA limited seats were sold out, the crowd wasn’t too bad. Can’t understand how the Giants price their tickets so high. I baulked at the price before paying and know many other Swans fans who just didn’t go as a result and thinking Swans would cop a hiding. They ended up missing a cracking game.

Crowd was still bigger than every other NRL crowd in Sydney yesterday. That’s to be expected though eh?

Oh and yeah... Australian Rules... No.2 code in NSW. :thumbleft:

That the biggest fixture on Sydney's AngloFL calendar gains so little fanfare, smashes argument of being a top 2 code.

You just cannot accept reality.

AFL - Greater Western Sydney vs Sydney - 16,116

NRL - Canterbury vs Penrith - 10,062
NRL - Manly vs Newcastle - 15,012
NRL - Cronulla vs South Sydney - 13,523

Given the long history of NRL number fudging...its far more likely that GWS numbers are just following a proven example, if indeed they are doing anything.

Smaller crowd at a smaller venue is going to look bigger due to viewing perspectives.
Well pal you're wrong again. Brookvale oval record crowd is 27,655. Un-named stadium record crowd is 21,924. Brookvale's capacity is now capped at about 20k. Un-named stadium capacity is 24k. So your 'smaller crowd at a smaller venue' analogy is demonstrably incorrect.

No need to apologise pal. The bubble is a terrible thing!!!!!

Have a great day!!!!

I’m not sure why he is so passionate about trying to down play the strength and growth of Australian Rules football. It’s like a mission lol. Very sad life one thinks when such a thing can occupy you life so much.

where is that idiot leeroy when you need him!
i mean he is so quick to issue a warning and bans to afl fans talk of exaggerated crowd numbers of his own little codes fudged numbers!
even more amazing when his own pathetic code has decades of proof of fudging numbers yet
