Aussie rules in and of itself does very well in SEQ.
Freddy if Melbourne Suburbs were flooded with Sydney Folk, rugby league would go even better too

I give the example of my Cricket Club, its probally a 80% to 20% split NRL to AFL
and all the blokes who love AFL have moved up to GOLD COAST in past 3 to 7 years.
True - but it’s not. The fact that there is a large population of expats - and thus has been a thing for many decades - means there is a large population that follows Aussie rules - there are several generations of people from AFL states - this doesn’t deminish that there is support. And then you have a large base and other people also take an interest. Just because they, their parents, their grandparents, or their great grandparents came from somewhere else doesn’t mean they don’t count - unless someone has an agenda to not do t them ??

First of all - I simply said I has never seen a 1 game membership. And I do believe, may be wrong, that this is the first year this Casually Committed membership has been offered - as haven't seen this before, and also the other memberships have a 2025 to 2024 comparison. So possibly a new thing. Who would pay 70 plus dollars for a 1 game membership???

Finally - another reason memberships stats are dodgy (as I have always said).

& it took 5 minutes to prove you wrong

now its a new thing because you've never seen them before ??

Hi Asif -

It seems you may be wanting an argument - which I am really not into - so I will just put that out there. Happy to have a normal chat though as we sometimes can when you are in the mood.

So, as I said in my earlier post - I have not seen these before and given the other memberships offered show a comparison from what you get in 2024 compared to 2025 - that those two things led to my assumption that they appear to be new. Is this definitive - no, it is just my reasoning. I may be wrong in my assumption and happy to be shown this is the case - I have no issue with this whatsoever, and indeed, welcome it.

I'll tell you what I'll do - I have to ring the suns to update my credit card details - so will be speaking to membership (I'm sure they will be calling me anyway) - and I will ask about the 1 game membership this year and whether it was offered previously.

Again, I am not posting shit as you call it. I am writing my experience and stated I was happy to be corrected. This is a the usual discourse of conversation.

Again, was not told three times - I posted that I have never seen them or heard of them. When LeRoy posted the link to this years membership packages I was happy to informed that they now do. To the best of my knowledge, I do not think they have offered one game memberships in the past - based on my experience and that the site does not compare the offer to 2024 just like other years - but again , happy to be corrected if I am wrong. I did a search for previous years memberships and could only find 2023 mentioned where they did not offer the 1 game membership. Again, i will ask when I call the Suns about this and if wrong, that is fine. I don't need to be "called" out" for being incorrect if I am - it;s not a bad thing in my eyes.

Listen, I do try and be nice to you Asif - I really do, and do try to avoid the whole insult stuff - I have been there in the past and realised I was just making a dick of myself. But I get that not everyone subscribes to this line of thought, and for you, the forum and fight club stuff fills some need. I am trying to trwat the forum as I would if down the pub or having a drink with mates - or with people in general - I have no need to put them down or jump around pointing out they may have said something wrong - sometimes I even let things go knowing they are wrong - cause otherwise i'd lose friends quickly. Anyway - I have no agenda, nothing to gain whatsoever, in stating that I did not believe the suns had a 1 game membership - I am happy to be corrected by LeRoy that they now do. I still stand by my belief that I do not believe they had them previously - but if someone can show me they did, then that is fine too. It's no big deal - like who cares. For you it seems some sort of victory if someone is proven wrong - which I get is somehow important for you - fills a need in this whole NRL v AFL thing you have going on - which is fine - we are all different. But it does become tiresome, and I don't wont to put you on ignore, as I really do try and give you the benefit of the doubt, for various reasons. I'm not the enemy nor do i want to be - I suspect many others feel the same.

Anyway - so the Suns do provide 1 game memberships in 2025. Lets see if this was a thing l;ast year and year before etc etc. Happy to stand corrected.
