I’m a long time Labor voter, but gees, I think the ALP have messed up their chances in Tassie this weekend. Similarly in Queensland.

Footy shows and news media basically saying a vote for Labor will be uncertainty for the new Tassie Devils footy team due to the stadium issue.

I haven't hear anyone claiming this for anything more than what it is. If you have then I would agree, that is purely silly. But for mine, it is just a token show of support and that seems to be the consensus.

then i think you need to pay a lot more attention
the word ...foundation .. disappeared off the official AFL publicity surrounding these figures after a few days

Just two days after the club’s official launch, AFL chief executive Andrew Dillon revealed on Wednesday there were already 121,000 founding members of the Tasmania Devils.

The ‘founding memberships’ cost $10, a token amount that’s significantly less than official AFL club memberships.

In saying that - I haven't looked too closely into it and will see if I can find some articles where they make out this membership tally is more than just an expression of support.

Tassie its a lock it is just going to come down to how good the stadium will be..
and how much are they willing to spend (the Government)
