oh yes Wanderers are even younger than GWS so you really cant use the 5 year old excuse with us. Oh but I guess the difference is we know what success looks like. You guys win a game at it's like you won a final
Don't think you can argue against the age of GWS - 3 mil in western Sydney a lot of whom are immigrants who grew up in countries where they were indoctrinated at birth to play soccer, I mean with all the negative media, the hate campaign by soccer and NRL, the demographic of the area I think they have done far better than expected - GWS was not put there to turn everyone in AF supporters but to build a presence and support which they are doing.

They were put there to try and crush RL, stop with the crap.
The AFL had it good with just the swans and lions, not looking too good now.
I know they'll do whatever they can to make them all survive, it'll cost a lot of $$$ and sadly for some, I think in the not to distant future, it could cost Melbourne a team or two.

Post the difference is the Wanderers have earned there success through hard work and graft. The Wanderers in a period of 3-4 years have clearly been embraced by those that love the world game in Western Sydney.
This is only the tip of the iceberg for the Wanderers.
GWS have been given the best young AFL players all over the country and basically have still failed to make a mark..
I do no see any evidence that GWS even exist with the people of western sydney.

an A league supporter bragging about crowds. Funny stuff

There is over 100k Football/soccer players in Western Sydney alone, the most in the country.
He could brag about that also, how many AFL players in western sydney champ? :_<>
If WSW could convert even a fraction of those kids playing in western sydney then sky is the limit for the Wanderers imo.

You got nothing as usual.
Do you see the difference in potential for WSW and fumble ball in western sydney?
Off course you haven't a clue about sport in western sydney.

its the same in melbourne. Soccer has 100 times the participation rates of RL. Funny thing is the A league's ratings and crowds are actually declining.

Turn it up, I know Sydney FC fans who will tell you the Wanderers were set up and owned by the FFA with the express intention of being very successful on field from the get go, in order to increase the $$$ value team could be flogged off for a few seasons later.
They were given best talent available all paid for by the league. No years of struggle whilst developing talent like GWS had to endure.
When you see WSW crowds when they're not doing so well, you can understand why the A-league was so desperate to create instant success. Will end up like Melbourne Storm I suspect. Instant success however hardly embraced by the wider community, even decades later.
Again earned success? You're hilarious

I'm no Sokka fan .
But I find it hilarious that a fumblefan is having a go at another team about getting the leg ups/advantages that other teams don't .
Oh my .
What alternate reality do you live in BEA.
AFL runs the most compromised comp in AUST ...by a long long way .
Lol just lol

Oh please. If the AFL was like the NRL with the Storm or FFA with the Wanderers, the Giants would have made a grand final in their first season and played finals every year after. Compromised? Yeah that would be rugby league and soccer in this country.
Hilarious part is, all the success given to the Storm at the expense of every other NRL club, has not resulted in the Victorian community embracing the Storm or RL - despite instant and ongoing success. Give it up already NRL. It's a sham

That may be just wishful thinking on your behalf - they weren't put in there to crush the NRL - they were put into Western Sydney because there was 3 mill there with no AFL presence - you can either keep flogging traditional areas to death or you can expand to new markets - the NRL have expanded to 1 area where RL has no presence Melbourne the AFL 4 - the AFL average attendance so far this year is averaging 36861 the highest since 2010 I'd say it has not only recovered from introducing 2 new teams but expanded the TV rights which is not only paying for those teams but much much more. No Melb sides will be lost - Essendon who created their prob have a bigger membership this year and will turn a profit so again just wishful thinking on your behalf.

insnt it funny how the GWS have managed to build up a fan base despite being flogged most weeks in 5 years of the nearly the same size a wests tuggers & penrith pussycats who have been around for 60 plus years in what is called league heart land

Just about everything you said there is a load of bullcrap.
Post Hoc you mind explaining the first 3 months of the WSW existence and where the foundation club players came from? What leg ups did the Wanderers get from the FFA?
I dont pretend to know everything on WSW like Bea, who thinks he knows it all about the WSW but has no clue as you can see from his reply.....
Btw nice try Bea, you come on here once every 6 months and still manage to know fuck all about your subject matter, Best to just stay quite if you dont know the subject matter champ lol
