They got 7,000 turning up to watch a Canada vs USA rugby league match in Toronto recently. AFL could only dream of numbers like that for international games.
Oh the hypocrisy. RL is going nowhere in any substantial market because it's the world's most boring code pure and simple. What an abortion of a game.
Very insightful post Mr Herpes .
But your opinion is worthless ..

Worthless you say. It's the simple reason why RL will never successfully tap any international market of substance. The truth, it hurts so much :D
Vlad I think your a closet AFL fan using another sport to dish Rugby League lol
While Rugby league will never compete with Football. It is still being played in more countries than it ever has in history

why cant League be played in a country where Union isnt.
its a case league is a joke on the world stage. its the stupid ugly verson of Union
it is. PNG.
and union has hardly given league a 'free ride' its been systemically pushing it down for the last 100 years. e.g. banning RL in france when it was as popular as union, little gvmt funding, banned in Russia recently, only JUST got recognition as an actual sport in RSA.

Oh the hypocrisy. RL is going nowhere in any substantial market because it's the world's most limited and boring code. What an abortion of a game. You can't successfully export a game of no skill into markets where sports fans will always watch the superior sports.
AFL don't have to go international, they're still no 1 in Australia and always will be. International thugby league remains a joke. If it wasn't for the army of braindead Aussie rednecks who watch it on TV, because they can't afford to go to games or figure out how to catch the right trains/buses to the stadiums, then international RL would be dead. It should already be dead. Abortion...of....a...game. Australia's national shame.
Haha Vlad you really have shown your true colours lol.. All you so called soccer fans love the braindead AFL and using another sport to attack Rugby League.
I wonder how you feel now that the Wanderers are making GWS look like a bad joke lol.. I love how bad WSW is making AFL in Western Sydney look. Is hilarious that nobody cares about GWS there
The only shame in this country is your shitty half nation game that nobody knows what it is outside Australia lol.. AFL is probably the only sport in the world that half it's own country thinks is a bad joke :_<>
AFL number is actually number 4 in NSW

Here's a point. AFL would have trouble getting proper venues outside of Australia, except maybe some cricket grounds. League is much better off because they would fit easily onto any NFL venue in the States, or any round ball venue in Europe. Just putting that into the pot.
