So in the east and north of Sydney Aussie rules is taking over and in the west soccer is dominating. Just one place to go I guess for RL fans. Back to their TV screens.
Vicky Kicky can't get 50K people to watch it on TV in Sydney

it is last in the east
west
north
& south

by a country mile too

RL is first by the same margin from Bondi to Blacktown
from Dee Why to Sutherland

it has no rivals of any note
just loud mouthed liars who fudged their crowds & playing numbers
yet a league and AFL dominate attendance at games

Oh and its amazing how you completely ignore the 30k watching on foxtel
hmmm
my graph above says neither dominate anything
& if 4K watched the midgets on Foxtel in Sydney .. it would be amazing

All it takes to defeat nRL is for a team from a different code to be succesful. Once the Giants are top of the AFL ladder, they too will be getting much larger crowds than the local nRL sides just like the Wanderers are now.

Enjoy the couple of years that the Giants aren't successful, because once they are, watch out.

The Giants have more members already than what they had last year, and there's still over 3 months before the membership cut off date. Giants... growing. Raiderdave's fear... increasing.

No Beaussie,

It's been proven before on this site that homebush is in the inner western suburbs of sydney.
Really???

Hmm, the following quote from yourself seems strange then right? :?>

as I said the 'Chardonnay set' are a superficial bunch. The novelty of ANZ stadium soon wore off and they've decided a 20min journey on the train into western sydney doesnt quite suit their upperclass values.

Well the panthers tigers matchup was out at campbelltown. A shameful crowd but totally understandable given the foolish decision to amalgamate balmain and wests. Anyone with half a brain couldve foreseen the culture trend towards balmain and leichardt becoming trendy inner west suburbs which'd more likely support the roosters than any team called wests. MEanwhile the folk out west have been jipped and look to be voting with their feet. A poor move by the nrl all those years back.
So the Wests Tigers are rooted? Why not just call them the Balmain Tigers then?

Western Sydney cleary doesn't care for the team and are voting with their feet right? Wake up NRL, are you not listening to KE.

Soccer is killing Rugby League in western Sydney 8-[
Um KE, think you missed my post and questions above. ANZ Stadium/Skoda Stadium/Homebush is in western Sydney according to you... right? :?>
