6 million is for sponsership and gate reciepts for clubs. The rest of the revenue is probabaly not considered RL revenue (poker machine etc)

It's not this latest TV deal the Vfl should worry about, it's the next seeing as all parties (News Limited/Ch9 and the NRL) had to give up things like first and last rights, the option of more FTA games comes up if expansion happens and all the rest just to get where they are at this point in time. The new deal is only just kicking in, the next will blow the Vfl back to Victoria where it belongs. The Vfl lot threw in the kitchen sink along with two other sinks in the northern states and junkets to other sinks across the sin* ditch!

If they are smart the next TV deal will be with the NRL and the AFL having their own channels, with a few games thrown into to FTA for chump change. Maybe 3 games each for 700 million.

If it goes that way, RL is in for a massive payday esp when you add in those pesky regionals.
