The only thing suss is that they are under investigation so the finger of suspicion is on them. If Danks didnt do what he said, and gave them PED's despite saying he wouldnt then theyre stuffed. If he did what he said, and gave players what he told the entire club he would, theyre fine. The entire coaching and medical staff were involved. There's no way they would have agreed to PED's.

This is looking like the biggest sports beat up in aus history.

THE MANLY SEA EAGLES were on Tuesday told none of their players had tested positive to illegal substances.
Sea Eagles chief executive David Perry and chairman Scott Penn met with the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority on Tuesday afternoon and were informed that, while the club remained under investigation, none of their players - past or present - had tested positive.
The Sea Eagles confirmed it in a statement released on Tuesday night.
Manly were one of six clubs under investigation that met with ASADA officials on Tuesday but there remain more questions than answers just three weeks out from the start of the season.

The clubs and fans want instant results so they can get on with their season. But ASADA will need to investigate these issues for months to get a true picture of how deeply these clubs are involved.

The fact that no positive results have been shown in no way clears clubs. This could still be a massive issue and the fact that 6 NRL clubs are suspected could impact the code tremendously.

The AFL are implicated just as much as the NRL, but saying that i think that the severity of this scandal has been blown out of proportion.

AFL clubs - including Port Adelaide - are being forced to put off lucrative sponsorship announcements as corporate Australia fears linking itself to the damaged AFL brand.

Rubbish. Essendon players, if guilty, were said to be unaware of any PEDs they were given, and even signed a contract to give them confidence the supplements were legal.

Compare that to multiple NRL teams. What, were all of those the same? I highly doubt it.

If I was investigating Essendon I'd be taking a looooong look at the process around signing that contract. Smells awfully like a dodgy cover your ass type plan to me. "Look we signed this contract thingy, we thought it was all good" yeah riiiiiiiight, it's been 'win at all costs' at that stinkin club for decades.

Look can start arguing about something else.
