I note Raider doesn't appear to dispute the subject of this thread (ie: economic benefits for Sydney/NSW provided by the AFL and its fans).

Meanwhile now that we know he appreciates the economic contribution of the AFL to Sydney/NSW, I wonder what economic benefit the Melbourne Storm provides to the Victorian economy? Anything? Care to outline it Raider? :roll:

Ratings all year for the swans have been 3-4 times the storms ratings.

Actually we don't, Raid, because the crowd numbers to AAMI Park are not what they should be. It really $hits me that the Storm fans don't flock there, given how many went to the State of Origin.

I'd rather be the Swans CEO than the Storm CEO right now. ARGH!!
