The Sharks are still without a major sponsor and can't even afford to put on a chief executive.

Cronulla doesn't have a CEO. That means it's a rudderless ship with no one in administration. That's a joke, never mind the lack of a major sponsor.

150 Million of the giggleball 1.25 Bill rights was internet & online money from Tesltra

the gumbyball rights are now effectively at 1.1 Billion ... still more then it should be
but now a lot less for the NRL to .... beat![]()
our internet rights are different to the AFL's
we were never counting on getting the same amount they did .. in our Billion plus
which will still be ..... a billion plus
As of the Optus decision, all Internet rights are the same.Raiderdave wrote:our internet rights are different to the AFL's
Xman wrote:Here is the 2010 annual report for the Newcastle knights. Oh dear!

Gate receipts and sponsorship income of around 12mil. Total income of just over 16mil!. A loss of over 1m or Over 6% of their yearly income! This is unsustainable surely!

AFL will get paid by telstra. Nobody else will.
Telstra will be supplying a live feed.
Optus will be supplying a slightly delayed FTA reproduction.
The big winner will of course be...................... channel 7.
Optus will be showing channel 7!!!!.![]()

They'll fight it to protect Telstra, their partner. That's not proof they won't get paid!Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:So where is your evidence they won't pay?Raiderdave wrote:

the AFL saying they'll fight it ..... why would they bother if they are getting their money you wombat
what are they fighting exactly ?
the deal with Telstra was for exclusive rights
the AFL can't provide this ........... the deal is null & void
why would anyone pay 30 mill a year for something they can get .......... for free
oh thats right
they wouldn't ...............
