29.10.2010 | RFL offers Touch Rugby to businesses and organisations across London!
The Rugby Football League (RFL) is offering all Pro-Active member organisations the chance to keep fit and have fun with Touch Rugby sessions.
The League For All project makes rugby league accessible to people of all ages, genders and abilities with the delivery of four modified versions of the game. Organisations in the London boroughs can now access coaching and resources from the RFL to take part in Touch Rugby as a great way of team-building, being physically active and improving employees’ health.
Touch Rugby is a fast-paced but minimal contact sport with a great social scene and is therefore suitable for all, with mixed teams being positively encouraged. The rules of Touch Rugby remove the element of contact from the game with the focus on running, passing and evasion skills.
Organisations who are interested in taking part in Touch Rugby will be offered a range of options to suit their individual needs, with one-off tournaments, regular league fixtures and social sessions some of the flexible formats that are already up and running across London.
