True but AFL does too... AFL bleeds into nsw across the Murray but nrl doesn't into Victoria ...

No no. AFL might be possibly in Aubury cause its on the border, but NRL has strong grassroots in places like Wagga Wagga, temora Griffith and so on
AFL is strong up to the Murrumbidgee River and has strong and ever growing pockets everywhere.
The Barrassi Line has been breached long ago by AFL.
Nice try Cos.

Yes, Gold Coast AFL has a very strong presence that had grown with the suns coming in.

Yep. People often forget that Nick Riewoldt and Kurt Tippett (and others) are Gold Coast products.

True ... Dane zorko as well. I think there are several Gold Coast products at present. Been a few in the past as well. Southport sharks have all the ones from their club who have played AFL up in the foyer.

But we best check with Dave in Canberra for the official word as to how AFL is doing in the Gold Coast lol .

What do you expect - the guys desperate to have us agree with him - he is just a very simple person who is getting frustrated that the crowds and TV ratings are plumetting!
