the lions are no where near on death door. their memberships and crowds arn't to far off the broncos, their revenue is similar to what the broncos are doing as well.

the lions are still attracting people to the games 26k turned up for the bombers vs lions game, the broncos got 21k vs the cowboys in townsville that weekend and only got 31k against the titans the following weekend at suncorp
they are still averaging 21k sitting on the bottom of the ladder, having copped a number of floggings, that 21k is still higher than nearly every NRL club

its far from doom and gloom for the lions
the lions biggest problem has been the internal fighting on the board, now there are idiots like sharpless wanting to move the club out of brisbane to springfield, because he owns the land out there, it has cost the club over the years, the AFL has said it will step in and fix the club up,

Oh what rot, Wookie! KE's thread was all about on field lack of competitiveness! It had nothing whatsoever to do with off field financial woes. On field lack of competition makes the United Eagles example PERFECT! And I'll give you another one - Kilburn in the SAAFL Division 3 competition. Their percentage right now is actually worse than United Eagles at the moment!

Cracker called it disruptive. I'll go one step further - it was slandering the clubs he named. None of them are on field basketcases at all, and under the false claim rule it was rightly deleted. Now KE has tried to bring it back and I nearly reported it, but I opted instead to put Kilburn on the list to make it factual. If it stays like that then I don't think it would be deleted - but then it's not my call of course.

That's a good point about slander, TLPG, but I should point out that the false claim rule has been removed by Beaussie so I can't delete it for that reason alone. For slander though I definitely could, however you made that not neccessary with your addition of a true on field basketcase. I will be interested to see how King Eliagh reacts to this. Are you aware of any other current on field basketcases?
