Foxtel or Channel 7 & 10?
Just watched the Carlton v Essendon game on 10. They seriously need to do something to dull out the crowd noise for the TV viewer. It was so bad you could clearly hear the ground announcer and at times it drowned out the commentary team. I love a bit of noise when im at the game live, but it is seriously annoying when you are watching from home.
That sux. all of my fathers side of the family are South melbourne cum sydney supporters so I know they are not happy with the coverage of swans games. There was a write up of the games to be televised a week or so again in the Melbourne Herald-Sun that showed that Swans fans (espacially the ones in Victoria) are going to be shafted big time. Seems it might be the same up there hey? Good luck to your swans, it will be good to see them up there again.
Cheers

Yeah, have had a pretty good foxtel package for a couple of years. huge fan of the English Premier League, and like to follow the cricket when the Aussies are away from home. I watch it enough to make the cost worthwile. Never been a fan of their AFL coverage though, its ok as a last resort. Just turn the TV volume down and one of the radio broadcast up. and cross your fingers that they are in sync! lol

It appears the Bulldogs v Lions game rated well in Brisbane as well as the other markets where it was broadcast in primetime. Who says footy wont rate in the northern states.
· AFL on Seven: Friday Night Football – Bulldogs v Lions (0.62 million) wins its timeslot across its four 8:30-11:00pm broadcast markets (33.4 share in total viewers):
