Although we did get 14k against a side from another country in round 1, not bad considering for the last 3 years we have won 2 spoons and come 14th out of 16 in the other year with everyone expecting parra to get the spoon again this year.

Can I ask, what's the biggest crowd Port Adelaide had playing an international club team at home this year?
Haven't played one.

Although they did get 36k against a ramshackle Brisbane Lions, not bad considering they almost folded 2 years ago when they recorded just 5 wins (2nd team to lose to GWS after the Suns) and had an average attendance under 20k for the first time in the club's history.

Now you've gone & confused the derper.

Here I will help..

International mostly means something (a company, language, or organization) involving more than a single country. The term international as a word means involvement of, interaction between or encompassing more than one nation, or generally beyond national boundaries.

That probably didn't help.
Don't the fumble simpletons think Overseas is going to Tasmania.

I honestly think that it's unfair to call on the AFL to play a club game against an international club, when you consider how far behind the game is outside Australia compared to rugby league. And that is aside from the Warriors as we must take note of the International Club Challenge as well.

BOTH Port Adelaide and the Crows should be back in the black financially with football’s successful return to Adelaide Oval. After both AFL clubs made losses last year, new Stadium Management Authority chairman John Olsen has reaffirmed there will be a shared $12 million uplift for the clubs at the Oval.

This is enough to end a long string of consecutive losses at Port and would turn around Adelaide’s extraordinary $1,879,341 loss last year.

“I cannot see how they can’t (make a profit) — either of them,’’ Olsen said.
The timing of this article is perfect. It's like the universe is actively mocking Raiderdave.

Very funny Drac - I wonder where this 5 cents the Sharks are going to have since there last on the ladder and their crowds are dropping under 10k. All over and good night for Sharks - onwards and upwards for Port!!!

With the links and proof being provided on this forum I rather think someone's location is irrelevant.

I will go out on a limb and say Port will make 2 million dollars in profit this year. this club has turned around big time this year, unlike the lions.
