As much as The Notebook realises circumstances have changed over the years, it is true to say the Swans have virtually cast aside an area that was so bountiful and loyal in the past.
How refreshing it is that the Giants have stepped up to fill the void.
On the other side of football fence, the NRL has much work to do to catch up, or try to even keep pace.
At a time when things are so tough in the bush, the NRL is not taking its responsibilities enough to heart
Les is a notorious AFL hater btw. Yet another story about the nRL ignoring the bush.
Money spent investing in sport in the bush > money collecting dust in a future fund.

:_<> :_<>
hes a fumble ball lover from way back
never written a positive thing about RL in his life you lying cockhead
the Midgets stole money directly out of the Wagga rate payers pockets in 2013
the filthy slimebags demanded to be paid by the wagga council to appear in the city
did any local fumbles club benefit from their visits over the last 2 years in Wagga , did they get a cent from these orange oxygen thiefs ............ nope !!
meanwhile
the Canberra Raiders & Canterbury Bulldogs didn't ask for a cent from their visit in 2012
& made profits through the gate from their trial & sponsors luncheons etc of over 50,000 dollars
which was distributed back to local wagga RL clubs
the only thing they covered was their costs ... 50K back to the grass roots in the City
all of this forgotten .. or.. ignored ... by this singletball loving Muir dickhead
the NRL clubs did the right thing
the VFL club were a money hungry arseholes & this is the only thing worth noting
know something before you post crap next time dickhead
