You know nothing about rl, AFL, AF in NZ and now statistics.

The current average is equivalent to a few years back.
If pigs fly then yes the rl will maintain this average but every year the rl
crowd average drops.
The factors that cause this are still present are probably
worse due to the unbalanced TV coverage.

Stop deflecting.
My post was in response to this lie by COS.

"If pigs fly then yes the rl will maintain this average but every year the rl
crowd average drops"

A straight out lie.
Which brings me back to the question...
Why do AFL fans have to lie .
Are they so insecure that they feel they must compulsively lie ..

:(/ :(/ :(/
mm deflecting posts, you bumsniffers do it all the time when loosing an argument which is pretty much all the time, yet when it is done to you,
its throw a tantrum time.

i was just point out the growth of the nrl crowds since the beginning of when they started being recorded. every couple of years the NRL crowds go up, then every couple of years they go down

its acturaly 32163k for 2013
still double to what the bumsniffer crowd is.the AFL fans are eagerly waiting for the NRL to put a few expansion teams in so we can watch watch the crowd average plummet!

add in Australias small population, when compared to the USA, England and Germany :thumbleft:
http://www.foxsports.com.au/AFL/AFL-pre ... 6548082315
The AFL was the fourth-best attended professional sporting league on the planet in 2012, amazingly beating out the likes of Major League Baseball and Spain's La Liga.

According to a report from Sportingintelligence.com, an average 32,748 fans attended AFL matches, which actually represented a decline from the 36,428 the code attracted in 2011.

The decrease resulted in the AFL dropping from third in 2011 to fourth in the rankings behind the English Premier League, which attracted an average 34,602 fans per game in the 2011-12 season.

the crowd drop was thanks to expansion teams GWS and GCS in RL heart land and Games being played in Cairns, Dawin and Tassie.
short term good, long term the game will only grow

Yes I'd suggest our AFL bumpkins swallow this reality and decide to use the terms growth and AFL a little more discerningly. [-X

I wouldn't use that as a sign of "growth" as such. One would need a bigger picture than just crowd averages.
