I'm not answering your question until you decide to show some respect and stop being so rude.

It's rude to make negatively phrased assumptions about where someone has been and what they know, as you did sunshine. So pick up yer game and stop being rude. And answer my questions ;) if you're honest enough to do so ;)

If you have been to Hermannsburg and got involved with the football there, you would know how to pronounce Ltyentye Apurte. They are fierce rivals. That's not an assumption. That's a fact. Also I just remembered, you can't just pass through Santa Theresa. The road terminates there from Alice Springs.

So now I wonder if you are in fact telling the truth about your travels. You have some serious considerations to make.

Never got involved with footy in the communities. I visited the communities as part of other work. And I was sure santa Theresa is on the stuart hwy north of mparntwe, so believed id passed through it but it must have been another community I was thinking about. Still not sure actually, I mighta been there, have been to so many out that way.

I wonder if you've got yer head switched on right there cwacker??

Anyone know how many Aboriginal folk who speak an Aboriginal language as their first language have been recruited into the AFL? Given marngrook is a highly popular sport in many communities which speak Aboriginal languages as their first language I'd expect many more than just Liam Jurrah...? I've seen the level of skill out there first hand...there's fairly high proportions of marngrook talent in these communities...anyone know of any others who've made it?

I do remember a few kids I'd coached got a trip to Melbourne to play before a final back in 2005. It was as part of the kickstart program but I've not seen anyone other than Liam Jurrah actually make it...
Outed, KE!! Get your story straight before showing off. Oh and by the way, I looked up "mparntwe" and guess what? It's the name for the land upon which ALICE SPRINGS ITSELF is built!! So you thought Santa Theresa is just north of the Alice huh? It's south east!! I looked on a map and Cracker is right. The road there stops there. The Sturt Highway goes south west.

You'd think if you'd actually been to the region and lived there you'd know all that! Unless of course YOU'VE NEVER BEEN THERE!! Yes it's true that I haven't either, but I've made phone calls and I'll guarantee you that everyone who follows footy in the Alice would have heard of the more successful communities from the old Community Cup! Including the correct pronunciation....

Speaking of which;

The correct pronunciation for Ltyentye Apurte is "Ginga Porta".

Well done, TLPG! Correct on several fronts including the pronunciation, and I have to say based on that expose that King Eliagh deserves little respect for his claims on this forum. It would explain his rude conduct when challenged.

What? That looks nothing like how it's pronounced!

Cracker, Eliagh doesn't have a polite bone in his body so to expect him to be polite is like asking Enron for a handout!

Oh Lordy! Look at how excited he is!!!

1. Where do I start with this shmack filled absurd premature ejaculation of a post? It's quite school yard, which may have been the context in which I coached rather than directly in the communities. doesn't mean I haven't visited them all ;)

2. Where did I suggest Mparntwe was any different to the land Alice Springs is based on?

3. I already explained my mistake re santa Theresa.

4. The correct pronunciation thingy is quite hilarious. Nothing but a desperate attempt to show all he can pat one's head while rubbing one's privates but in the process making a disgusting mess for all to see.

LG? This my friend is one of your finest works!

:(/

Ps beaussies already validated my experience in the Alice

pps Cwacker? I can see you're all trying to be objective and what not but get with the program before making your judgements or be labelled dipshit forever more.

And you aren't helping by giving me instructions as to how to behave, King Eliagh. If you wish me to listen to you I suggest you treat me as an equal.

I don't know what has been validated specifically, but you didn't address the inconsistency over coaching in the area. I would also point out that your mix up over the location of Santa Theresa is inconsistent with your claimed local football knowledge. I'm not accusing you of lying - I'm simply saying that these inconsistencies are leaving you wide open for attack as TLPG has done. Perhaps a refresher trip back to the red centre may be in order at this point? If you can of course.

Now I can tell you that most footballers in the communities don't make the effort to go to Alice Springs, so this places your coaching claims in limbo. Particularly if the children were of primary school age, and their education as I'm sure you know is done in the communities and not in the Alice.

So I think you need to provide more information if you are able. Perhaps your memory isn't the best, in which case can I ask when you were last there?

Yes I did address the coaching position my friend. Re read point 1 ;)

No my mistake re santa Theresa has nothing to do with football knowledge in the area dipshit. Yes that will remain your name until you grow a brain. My mistake re santa Theresa has simply to do with memory. It's a minor and human fukkup which I have acknowledged. I could've looked it up to make sure I was right like you twats, but seeing as I was actually postulating on the location rather than stating it as fact I saw no need to. LG's desperate attempt to show me up shows the hand he is playing and the ilk of his character i.e woeful!

I'd like a link to your point re most footballers in communities don't make the effort to go to ALice Springs? This is something I'd suggest is incorrect as, when I was there and as far as I know, the regional GF is played in Mparntwe at Traeger park. The Yuendumu magpies have regularly won it in that very location.

Additionally several schools in Alice Springs enrol students from more remote communities. I'm afraid you simply don't know what you're talking about cwacker, my dipshit. So pickup yer game or cop the name. Your choice bro ;)

I think you are the one who needs to "pick up your game", because you are behaving like an arrogant politician desperate to be believed despite all the questions that remain unanswered. I commented elsewhere that you rely on personal experience and expect to be believed. TLPG is the same. It's not possible to source either. So it comes down to who presents themselves as credible. In this respect, your arrogance is your enemy.

When I said "most footballers in the communities don't make the effort to go to Alice Springs" I was referring to school age children and not adolescents or adults. Of course the latter go to the Alice to play at Traeger Park, although there is no "regional" (as in community) grand final anymore. The competition merged with the town competition a number of years ago. Yes, Yuendumu were and are strong. So is Ltyentye Apurte and Western Aranda (Hermannsburg). However I don't know if Yuendumu have been regularly winning flags since the merger.

Your reference to coaching was very vague. This is why I queried it again. And I would point out that the enrolment of students that you referred to applies to high school only, not primary school. That is done locally.

Now instead of calling me names, perhaps we can converse seriously as equals? Is that too much to ask?

Actually, Cracker, just a correction. Yuendumu WERE strong. After winning the first combined competition premiership in 2008 they failed to make the finals in 2009 and 2010. Since 2011 they haven't fielded a side at all. Prior to that in the Southern Communities they won four of the last five premierships from 2003 to 2007.
