If you think I'm complaining you are mistaken. I was simply venturing some advice. I can see now that it won't be taken so I'll move on.

Sorry Cracker but you'll find endless tirades of abuse from the NRL lot - the NRL followers that actually want to discuss don't seem to last long.

If my advice wasn't clear enough for you, King Eliagh, then you have some issues to deal with.

Delusional tards.

More & more AFL clubs are reliant on POKIES..
But you just ignore that fact...Which is easy when you have your head up your arse.

With a poker machine addiction now embedded in the finances of AFL clubs, it is legitimate to question the league's self-proclaimed role as a champion of social responsibility.

Certainly, some people believe football's link with the pokies is damaging the community from which it draws its millions of supporters.

This week The Age reported that the 1317 poker machines in nine Victorian AFL clubs last year drained $85 million from the pockets of customers, a good proportion of whom are football fans. They would also make up a fair swag of the gambling addicts who, according to the voice of the anti-pokies movement and World Vision CEO, Tim Costello, contribute 40 per cent of this revenue.

&

AFL clubs have ignored an offer to help them get out of poker machines.

Victorian clubs instead are increasing their reliance on pokies cash.

It is now 19 months since AFL boss Andrew Demetriou said clubs had shown an interest in selling machines.

The league was "prepared to open the batting on being the intermediary for them", Demetriou said.

Gaming Revenue

Collingwood – 22.17 million, up from 19.8 million
Carlton – $19.7 million, up from 9.5 million
Hawthorn – $18.4 million, up from 14 million
Geelong – $13.7 million, up from 11.3 million
Brisbane – $13.4 million, down from 13.7 million
Essendon – 8.6 million, up from 5.8 million
Richmond – 5.4 million, up from 3.7 million
Western Bulldogs – 5.1 million, up from 3.7 million
St Kilda – 2.2 million, up from 1.1 million

http://www.worldofwookie.com/aflbusiness/?page_id=1625

Yes the AFL are as clean as a whistle from pokie machines......................................FFS how stupid are some AFL fans...
:(/ :(/
so collingwood a club revenue of 75 million
carlton 57 million
Hawthorn 64 milion
Geelong 56 million
all these clubs can still raise 40 to 50 million plus with out even using pokes

and how are the NRL clubs going, many of the NRL clubs do not release financials, so it is hard to get an understanding on how they are going but no doubt, with pathetic, crowds, membership & sponsor numbers they all will be a similar basket case as the raiders
http://www.raidersclub.com.au/site/file ... 199982.pdf
revenue 26,065,929
sales revenue 8,062,476
gaming revenue 18,637,576, money pinched from its various gaming venues :(/ :(/
so :-k sorry who has a reliance on pokers,
so perhaps get off your high horse, spazza and do a big more research

Don't agree my feeling is between 4-6 games, Mumford, Josh Hunt, Shaw, Jed Lamb, Dillion Addison Boyd are all big inclusions with a lot of there list approaching 50 games the improvement should there - I think a more competitive year with less blow outs!

Would save a shitload of time if any claim on here had a credible source.

I would guess that it wont happen ,as the majority of TLPG,Cwapper & ADAMS CLAIMS would disappear.

Ok, why don't we put it to a vote?

I can create a thread with a poll. People who want to head down this path can give their vote. If enough people agree I'll run it past beaussie.

I'll ask for another mod to help though. I can't trawl every single thread looking for claims to be deleted.

how about your self always crying fowl when some one out does you in some pointless issue you start?
or how about RD who has never backed up a claim, with any evidence what so ever
like a true braindead NRL fan sit there on their high horse beating chest about your abortion of a game, but throw a few facts about your your claims, you are off changing topics :thumbleft:
