Re: Finals Comparison

Post by NRLCrap1 »

I'm going to repeat this one more time;

The clear terms;
Drac wrote:
Will the 4 finals of nRL this weekend manage to collectively draw as many people through the gates as the single Richmond v Carlton game?

Discuss.
The offer;
King-Eliagh wrote:
Sun's just come out on a chilly friday arvo. So I actually dont know the answer to this one....its hard to say.

But in any case, would you care for a signature bet, ol stoopid head? :lol:
Historical note - it is well known throughout this forum that Eliagh is an NRL guy. So the first part is not relevant.

The acceptance and further terms;
Drac wrote:
Oh what the Hell. 'till the end of the nRL finals series?
The final acceptance;
King-Eliagh wrote:
Ah yes, you're a good/'stupid' sport Drac! Why not keep things consistent and go for the end of the year?
"Ah yes"

"Ah yes" <<------------ THE COMMITMENT THAT MARK SAYS DOESN'T EXIST!!!!

The extension means nothing.

And it's history that the Richmond/Carlton game pulled a bigger crowd than all four of the NRL finals.

Eliagh lost the bet - and welched on it. I don't give a damn what Mark says. My opinion counts to those who matter. Xman in particular. This is a clear case and I don't think it's possible to be wrong to rule in Drac's favour. Any objections are bleats of technicalities and nothing more.
DON'T MAKE ANY BETS WITH ELIAGH!! HE WELCHES WHEN HE LOSES!!

Ah hows about we refer to the zero agreement, (or existence there of) of any written actual such wager between us pair.... i.e nrl cwowd v AFL cwowd. ??? who is who ...?

and then hows about we refer to my references to AFL cwowd dominance since my original membership in '04 in combination with my quote "im leaning towards the AFL on this one.."

there is no case here im afraid ;)

Also important to note that it's automatic that Eliagh is NRL and Drac is AFL. It doesn't need to be specified to be a valid bet.

Cwapper, unfortunately for you I've played both marngrook and RL and regularly go to both AFL and NRL games. This makes your comment above look stoopid

Ah for fukks sake. For those who are able to comprehend basic English. It means -

" Ah yes, you're a good/'stupid' sport Drac! Why not keep things consistent and go for the end of the year?"

Rather than.

"Ah yes, you're a good/'stupid' sport Drac! I'll take the NRL to get a higher crowd than the AFL in four games vs one for an avatar bet. Why not keep keep things consistent and go for the end of the year?"

Comprehende mod bitch? :cheers:

Why talk about retaining the punishment until the end of the year if you weren't agreeing to the bet?

I was planning on betting my douchebag. I was planning on betting on the AFL, as is clearly illustrated in the line "im leaning towards the AFL on this one". But I got sidetracked and didn't get back to dwac before fri eve. Yes it wAS a case of me leading poor dwac on a bit and it woulda pissed him offif I got back to him before the round started and highlighted that I was taking the AFL in the bet as I hAd planned.

But alas I didn't get time to log back on and piss dwac off prior to kickoff. Turns out not getting back to him has pissed him off much more. I'm cool with that :lol:

I didn't see any acceptance of the bet. All I saw was the acceptance of the duration of ban/exile. No commitment to any bet on a particular code.

Did K _ E say AFL? No.

Did He say NRL? No.

That's it, that's the end.

What others may or may not have read into it is just toilet paper. It's not worth the crap that's smeared all over it.

Facts is facts Xman, there was no agreement to bet either way. Case dismissed. Move along, nothing to see here.
