Actually ......

The traditional preseason competition will be replaced by the NAB Challenge series, which features 18 practice matches played over 18 days, beginning February 12. Each team will play two pre-season games, many of which will be played at suburban or regional venues; all games will be televised on Fox Footy.

So a new format for the AFL. Games played in numerous metro and rural grounds around Australia, giving all fans a great chance to see their teams new lineups.

Thanks for asking :thumbleft:

Dave celebrating before the comp has even been played, again...

Remember claiming the NRL G f would easily rate over the AFL GF last year, and how it would get near 2.7m metro viewers? What happened there?
