NRL tops Nations most watched sport again

Picking long weekend or split rounds is hardly the norm Dave. A typical AFL round has a Friday night game in isolation, 3 afternoon games where all 3 are concurrent, one being 100%, the other 2 50%, 2 Saturday night games at 100% overlap! and 3 Sunday afternoon games with 2 at 50% overlap and 1 at 100%.

Effectively each fan can only ever watch 5-6 full games per weekend. For the NRL they can watch 6-8 full games per weekend

oh so now its 5 full games a week in isolation

FACT: The AFL has on average 1 game shown in isolation per round. This of course excludes split rounds or public holiday rounds

FACT: because the other 8 games are show concurrently, and you cannot watch two games at once, each AFL fan can only watch 5-6 AFL games per week.
