there are about 10,000 registered club RL players in VIC .. WA .. SA .. TAS & NT
& as for participants .. well Vic had over 50,000 alone in 2013 so it could be 100,000 overall in the above states, both figures growing healthily .. annually
the ACT has some 5,000 registered club RL players

I think they quoted donething like 50000 for Victoria lol but hey why wouldn't they talk up their product. Rl is almost non existent in Victoria although a small local league. How many rl clubs in Victoria ? I know there is the one league so not too many clubs. I'm unsure what a rl experience is? Does anyone? I wonder when they play an mlb game this year how many they will get ... Must mean baseball is popular lol but fact remains more people play baseball in Victoria than rl. More clubs more registered players. More than 1 league. It's hardly big though. I do enjoy watching it on tv though so that's a baseball experience lol. What is a rl experience anyway ? Does anyone know? Do they say in their report? Just wondering seriously what constitutes a rl experience ?

he along with others didn't believe me
so he e-mailed the VRL ... & got it confirmed I was indeed ... 100% correct

& as I understand it
the ARL consider a rugby league experience as a training clinic held during school holidays or at schools during the term by usually development officers with the help of U20's Holden Cup players who assist as part of their education & development programs that they must complete to keep their contract registered with the NRL.
Occasionally NRL players help out too
RL does not have a fake .. make believe ... fairy tale set up like the VFL's Ausfudge ...
so use a different term to describe how it introduces kids to its game
that's all.... many of these kids probably won't maintain any contact with the game .... so the figure is 3 parts irrelevant .. much like the VFL's participation figures are eh ?
we simply decided to play the same BS game the fumbles n bumbles has for the last 20 years or so.... & just like the VFL trot out these participation numbers as some kind of gauge of growth
we can .. & will ... do this too
