Off to the Origin

Post by Willis 21 »

Its that time of the year again .... one of the nations biggest events and the most intense rivalry in Australian sports...

Its State of Origin time, the clean cut NSW boys taking on the best of the redneck Queenslanders...

All the other pissant states can do is look on with envy

Well, I am on the rickety Qantas 767 tonight back to Sydney.... will be attending this game, amongst other NRL games....

See you in a couple of weeks suckers....

I wonder if anybody will post anything during the time I am away...

Its been a bit quiet in here lately... :|

I think Beaussie must be in hospital getting an anal pap smear or something... :?:

Hmm I was wondering the same thing when I read the comments of Willis. Fact is Willis, most parts of Australia wouldn't even know nor care that state of origin in rugby league is happening tonight.

You have your doubts? Tell me, what time is this so-called biggest event in Australia that all the other "pissant states look on with envy" at, being broadcast on FTA TV outside of NSW and QLD? The AFL GF, Melbourne Cup and even Australian Open Tennis would be much more popular nationwide. In any case, have a good time in Sydney tonight and go umm, Blues.

Oh and that anal pap smear you alluded to. Ohhh the less said on that topic the better. I'm sure you know how it feels.

Oh and Willis, perhaps you could explain why it is that as you put it, one of the nation's biggest events - is NOT a sellout tonight? Only have to sell 85,000 tickets don't they? Perhaps this event is not as popular as leaguies like yourself would like us all to believe. :?
