No, you've got nothing because your folly is so obvious even blind Freddy could see it. Why should I explain the obvious? You work it out for yourself. If you can't, it'll show how stupid you are.

You've got nothing Dumbo. No matter which way you try and twist it. You had a fail and you can't bring yourself to admit it. You accused me of backflipping but you have nothing. You screwed up. You have no integrity. That is what I have worked out.

And you're wrong, and I'm not going to explain why because if you had any brains you'd be able to work it out for yourself. Get back to me when you do. Until then, remain the fricking whining goose you are.

Then how come every time we have a FIFA World Cup qualifier at the MCG it packs it out??

And why Suncorp when ANZ holds more people let alone the MCG?? No confidence in pulling a big crowd?
was your first question directed at me?? if so ill answer...
In the Past the MCG may have had Large crowds(at or close to sellout) but largest crowd or the MCG being unable or able to attract crowds to go to ANY sport is not what i was getting at. The MCG was not made for Rectangular played sports and for this reason it is not an ideal venue for Rugby League or Soccer. The first row of seats in the stands are still about 35metres from the sidelines so due to this for several rows back spectator viewing is less than adequate.

Thats why if australia did win the 2022 world cup The MCG's Capacity would have been reduced to 88,000, with the first few rows around the stadium covered in tarp. The MCG was one of the weakest submitted by the FFA. It would have been better if they just ditched it entirely and built something like the E-Gate proposals that the AFL were looking at to keep them happy and stop their whinging, and build it like how Etihad Stadium in manchester was but build it in complete reverse. firstly build the stadium rectangular in shape for the world cup, then after the world cup the first tier is removed and raise the field which increases the field size into an oval for AFL.

ANZ although rectangular (sort of) still has issues with distances (behind the goals) and because the lower tier is not very step, the grandstands are alot further back than they should be with decreases atmosphere and viewing.

Suncorp is the best rectangular stadium in australia, prob one of if not the best stadium in australia. the stands were built around a rectangular field. the sands are step so everyone is close to the action. If your hosting a final you want it to be in the best viewing stadium with the best atmosphere and thats why i chose it over ANZ and MCG.

To answer your other question, it has nothing to do with no confidence in pulling a big crowd, and besides that a half or three quarter full suncorp stadium looks heaps better on tv than a full or near capacity MCG where instead of stands all you can see is an endless grass paddock around the field.

You just showed that you have no faith in pulling a crowd. Well done. Play it at the MCG or ANZ. They are the biggest venues in the country, and by the way - no rectangular stadium of the size of Manchester's will be built. Why? Because the club interest isn't there to maintain it. That's the NRL's biggest fault, and the A-League's as well.

That's why I said at the outset I would not be going. I'm not the slightest bit interested. Even if it was played at the G as it should be. Configuration should not even come into it.

Crap1 you seriously need to read and give your 'brain' time to evaluate it before you write a reply. where in my post do i proove to you that i have no faith pulling a crowd?! My comment was that i believe that suncorp is the best rectangular stadium in australia, the best league/soccer stadium in australia, the mcg and ANZ may have a larger capacity but they are no where near as good for the rugby codes and soccer.

I think you really need to go back and look at what my 'manchester stadium' comment was about, because you are way off mate. FYI i mentioned 'manchester stadium' because of HOW IT WAS BUILT, i didnt say anything about any NRL clubs needing to build a simular sized capacity stadium or anythimg. Manchester stadium was firstly built for the commanwealth games and had afield dimensions like sydneys olympic stadium, then after the comm games they removed the running track, cut deeper into the field then built a new bottom tier so that the stadium now is fully rectangular. I mentioned this because i thought that the MCG was one of the weaker stadiums that australias world cup bid had (just like most soccer fans from outside the AFL states) and that i thought they should have ditched the MCG and proposed to build a stadium simular to manchester stadium but in reverse, ie rectangular first and then oval after world cup.

and again FYI i think you were thinking of the wrong manchester stadium when you were talking about "no rectangular stadium of the size of Manchester's will be built", manchester stadium is also known as edihad stadium and manchester city play there, have you heard of them. edihad stadiums capacity is around 45,000 so again when you said "no rectangular stadium of the size of Manchester's will be built" you were again wrong, there is afew rectangular stadiums in australia with simular or larger capacitues. mate you really need to switch the channel over from 'fox footy' every now and then, cmon work with me here....

Bullshit and that's why I said what I said about the FIFA world cup qualifier!! You'll play anything on an oval if you have faith in a crowd. Your insistence that Suncorp is best shows that you have NO faith in pulling a crowd!

You're the one who need "brain time" if you think otherwise!

Don't a lot of European and Sth American soccer grounds have running tracks around the pitch - doesn't stop big crowds at those venues - didn't the MCG get 90+ for Australia v Iran? The ground is that shape for cricket not AFL as cricket came 1st
