wanna know where RLWC was after 10 years? 1960 RLWC (6 years after inception) 33k final match. WHY CANT AFL DO THAT??? piece of shit sport with no international relevance. that's why.

and next week you'll be seeing some more records broken as Old Trafford sells out to 75k.

NRL started off in England to begin with & Union is popular in England, so if the Final doesn't sell out, it will only prove to be a bigger joke than what it already is.
so after 50 years of having a world cup, you have Australia, NZ & maybe England a distance, are the dominate sides & the rest are there to just make up the numbers, so for dumb fucks like you can go around trying to convince every one that there is a RLWC.

and talking about figures 170 odd of the players in the RLCW play in the NRL. >
if it was such a success the NRl community wouldn't need to go around trying to convince us otherwise!
its nothing but a gloried tournament for the Aussies playing NZ but needing to play a bunch of warm up games against minor countries

its a joke at best, you guys have the right to sue for false advertising, world cup,
it should be advertised as follows
AUS VS NZ, ,featuring a bunch of countries, that could muster up a few amateur's & several NRL players to play the might of AUS or NZ

Each sport offers unique positives. Cricket has a fantastic international competition but cricket fans do not know the joy of a vibrant national competition because that aspect is largely ignored.

RL has a modest international schedule in comparison, but a far better national competition.

The AFL has no international schedule but a thriving national competition.

Which is better? Depends on what you prefer I'd suggest.

Well I can safely say that Dave's mockery will come back and bite him hard because in a generation I expect Australia to have a proper competitor. Why? Because the AFL is interested in putting resources into international development. Rugby league couldn't give a stuff.

Oh and here's something I just thought of. If rugby league is so good internationally, why isn't it an Olympic sport??

USA dominates bball and the ABs rugby union. rugby is just lucky the ABs have choked a fair few times. but for example they are undefeated this year with 13 wins IIRC.

170 are from the NRL, yes. But foreign players from NZ, the UK and the islands play in the comp too. do you realise that? Sam burgess isn't an aussie, neither is koroibete who learnt english a couple of years ago.

you didn't answer the question. 6 years after RLWC started we were pulling 30k crowds. where are they for AFL IC after 10 years with your supposed superior international presence. 500 people at the MCG before a regular AFL game for the final doesn't cut it mate. :_<> :_<>
