yet in Australia more people are interested in the AFL draft

why is this a bad thing? you realise that people move to australia to play in the NRL just as people move to america to play in the NBA but then play for their country in the olympics?

AFL has more PLAYERS!! I stand by what I said. For the record, not that it hugely matters, AFL has the highest average crowds in Australia and is in the top five worldwide as well. We tick all the boxes. You only tick a few of them.

IMO RL is bigger internationally and on a competitive league basis - however AF has made astonishing progress in the last 10 yrs - won't be long before there is semi - pro leagues (in that they recruit Australians to play). AF has a long way to go but they are making considerable progress.

NRL started off in England to begin with & Union is popular in England, so if the Final doesn't sell out, it will only prove to be a bigger joke than what it already is.
