True, reflective of a lack of interstate teams. poor reffing, poor set of rules. Last year was a 4.7 million peak for NRL. Oh well, I want a strong message to be sent to the ********* working at the nrl, now hopefully they'll act for 2014.

Your biggest issue is the code isnt national, no teams in 2 states and no games played in a 3rd. Add to that the code is struggling to gain support in its own heartland of Sydney. I mean the crowds are truly horrible

Come on TF forumers lets get your predications for the AFL V NRL grand finals tv figures, it sure will be interesting when considering no swans to inflate the AFL figures and no storm or QLD teams for the NRLs.

Lets keep this simply an all australian affair (so no NZ), and also the tv figures for the actual games only (no pre game or post game crap)...

And lets try to keep the bias outter it as much as possible...

I think the nrl as Sunday night prime time and public holiday next day in nsw and qld means people will have a night with it . If we are keeping the guesses made with regionals out and go by the actual 5 city metro ratings AFL will win as it has all year and has always .

No, Nobody watches superior management they watch football.
AFL won because they had an interstate team and nrl didn't.
NRL came close because they play in prime time and AFL play in dead time.
If AFL adjust the timing of the GF it will be a big winner and of course
it's much easier with a superior product in AFL.
