what will be interesting will be the AFL V NRL grand finals tv figures with no swans to inflate AFL figures and no storm or QLD teams for NRL

Errrr, the AFL is the Australian Football League with teams from all around Australia.
WTF do you think West Australians will be doing?

I made that comment because NSW (for the AFL) and VIC (for the nrl) will not have teams represented in this years GF's, My comment had nothing to do with the AFL being a national comp or me bagging it out in anyway.

And if you look at it from population wise, and the teams/states that are represented it is very even;
AFL - Haw vs Freo (VIC 5.4+WA 2.2) = 7.6 million
NRL - Man vs Syd (all NSW) = 7.3 million

I personally think that the NRL will beat the AFL
