As for brown nosing piesman. I'm disgusted you folks have crashed a thread which celebrates a man who has acted, so far successfully, to eradicate racism on these boards. Funny and a bit strange how the nrl supporters have openly commended piesman for his efforts, while the AFL supporters have only scowled and scoffed in a thread commending this mod.

Not a good look for AFL supporters i gotta say. Quite supports my theory that on the whole, AFL supporters are a more racist lot. Quite sad really.

Ty KE, and others for being nice to me. I would like to think i make a difference, however it takes all of us as a community to create some good atmosphere on this site and in my opinion thats what this site has. As to other infractions, i will say that there have been other bans given out, however i prefer not to talk details, i believe that this should be keep private. I would love to see a red card system like on other websites to let you know if someone has done something wrong, but that's something for the future.
It is probably not a bad stage to tell you all that i have just let Beaussie know that I will be handing in my mod badge. I use to log on at work a lot and talk crap and footy with you guys a lot during working hours, however i was approached a week or so ago at work and my boss told me that I had been spending to much time on sports bet during working hours. I was like what are you talking about i don't think i have ever been on sports bet ever and then it dawned on me. My favourite website TFC has sports bet advertising all over it and it must be creating some sort of link. I will still be on evenings however i feel I can't read enough of this site to properly moderate it.

No probs pies, you've done a standup job and it's a pity to see you're on ur way out. Jobs gotta take the front row though. That red card system looks like a good idea. I personally reckon people should be branded publicly after their misdemeanors. For example one may not be aware of qldafl's red card for racism unless they were part of the convo. It'd be great to see the card and reason by their profile for the season. 3 red cards a season and you aint comin back.

It'll be difficult to replace you pies, the other AFL supporters look to be several notches down in intelligence and, unfortunately, unable to commend those who should be commended This thread is a real eye opener actually, showing the quality of character of the nrl supporters in contrast to the bitter, sour and cranky AFL supporters, apart from piesman. =D>

It's me, KE. Well I thought it would be suitable I take the initiative to stand here today in front of you all and commend the work of our newest mod, pies

This man, some weeks ago took a firm strong stance against racism, suspending QLDisafl for his rash choice of words. Since this stance I've not seen anymore racist remarks from our AFL supporters, which is great =D> . Word on the street is piesman has also taken some other tough stances, though I'm not privvy to what actually occurred so I'll give up the stage for piesman, our commendable moderator, to take the mic now and tell us all who else has been punished and what for here at talking footy. We should all learn from piesman's leading the charge here folks so please, without further ado, Piesman come on up here with your badge and all and tell us how you've been policing, who's been charged and what for in this difficult neck of the woods.
