2006 NAB Cup

Post by Beaussie »

Any predictions on who'll take out the NAB pre-season cup?

One thing I'm almost certain of is, Sydney wont make it past round 1 against the Kangaroos in Canberra. The Swans never seem to take the pre-season seriously. Not saying that is such a bad thing having been upset last year with our pre-season form, only to be rewarded with my team's performance when it really mattered in September. :D

Anyway back on the topic of predictions for the 2006 NAB Cup, any ideas on who you think will take it out?

ah Grim another flash of genius =D> , who cares who wins, Carlton won it last year and then could hardly win another game but played West Coast in the GF and the Eagles made the real season GF as well. Its still footy tho, the drought is over..

True. I was really upset with the pre-season form of the Swans last season but that said, winning in September is all that should matter. Whilst I'll watch the Swans game on Saturday, I'm not at all confident of victory, despite the impressive performance of the young Swans against the Bombers on Friday night when we were tipped to be slaughtered.

Anyway I'm just happy to see footy is back. Like you say boof, the drought is over. :D
