Re: The Rise and Fall of Port Adelaide
Well well well, they're back on the rise. Good for them. Don't get too excited though folks, they'll fall again
What a wonderfully adequately titled thread.

Thread title is correct if you stop at round 10. unfortunately for you though Queen, there's 13 more rounds of football to get through.King-Eliagh wrote:Well well well, they're back on the rise. Good for them. Don't get too excited though folks, they'll fall again

Quite profound there QE! How do predict the fact an AFL team will rise and fall on the ladder with such accuracy!King-Eliagh wrote:Well well well, they're back on the rise. Good for them. Don't get too excited though folks, they'll fall again

Re: The Rise and Fall of Port Adelaide
Yes thanks Xman. I also noticed port's prolific fall from grace the minute I made the opening post of this thread :D
Ok x seeing as you asked ill let the secret outta the bag. Most prophets are just smart and have good 'vision' based on the facts at hand. The AFL's a sinch these days to make predictions. It's all to do with the basketcase league and the incredible lopsidedness of the comp

Re: The Rise and Fall of Port Adelaide
According to how KE defined what a basket league team was , there are only bulldogs, gws, and Melbourne left. He did place suns and lions in there but they gave both beaten two teams not in his basket case league by mid way through season so that rules them out. He (ke) has tried to change this as circumstances changed in a desperate attempt to save face but he doesn't realise he has no face to lose lol.

Ah no phelpsy. What you've really said there is "According to how I, phelpsy, defined how ke defined what a basketcase league team was ..."
And hence the rest of your blabber has done nothing more than form a glistening pile of drool on ur chin. Give it a wipe matey.

Re: The Rise and Fall of Port Adelaide
Sorry to break it to ya phelps but the definition you found was part of a definition within the narrow context of a bet I had with xman, which he ended up chickening out on. The broad definition quite clearly states that basketcase sides are simply shitehouse sides who are uncompetitive against all other teams who are not basketcases unless the sun shines out their a hole and the pro team are having a bad day. And I could outquote you with this definition a thousand to one.

Re: The Rise and Fall of Port Adelaide
According to KE, Port was one of these basketcase sides. After a few rounds we weren't, then when we had a slip in form this thread was created by KE in the hope that we'd become a basketcase side again.King-Eliagh wrote:Sorry to break it to ya phelps but the definition you found was part of a definition within the narrow context of a bet I had with xman, which he ended up chickening out on.
