Wow! And you wonder why I agree with raiders accurate generalisation that AFL supporters are a bunch of brainwashed merinos?

The suns are already on their way and by 2015 will be a lock in for finals. The giants are a year behind. In fact last year most people thought the giants were ahead.King-Eliagh wrote:They're here to stay and tarnish the cred of the entire comp. and you're happy with that?![]()

The only struggling teams left are Melbourne and the bulldogs. That's hardly unusual for an 18 team comp to have a few strugglers. The other teams you target, like the lions, power and saints, can beat almost any team on their day so they are definitely not basket case.
Things are looking up for the AFL and the increase in crowds and ratings shows it.

Port beat the swans. Lions with one of the best comebacks ever against the Cats.

I missed both games. Port are still yet to officially be registered in the b case league. The lions however. Well everyone said they'd be just awesome after preseason. "They're back!" They said. And I laughed
yest? Wow, big deal. The sun shone outtA the b cases ass and Geelong went to sleep
Shit happens
Here's the real piccie for yas. Against non basketcase league teams brissie have played 9 games for just two wins this season. Over their seven losses they lose by an avg whopping 38 pts! That's 7 goals on avg. Lordy.
Note these figures don't include the lions grand entrance into the 2013 season. After winning the preseason joke cup they entrred their first round game with a mammoth 70 point loss to the western bulldogs. Oh my!

Who is actually in this basket case league ?? Can we scroll back and see who you listed . I'm sure north and st kilda weren't there

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
I thought the point of this post was about how the AFL is a lopsided competition & how no favourites ever win.
Yet King you have just stated how the bulldogs beat the lions in round 1 which was a major upset at the time as the bulldogs were predicted to do terribly in the season.
Come on King lift your game buddy, you are starting to crack a bit mate

Port had the upset of a season for a grand total of 27 hours lol. But now after that amazing win against the Cats yesterday, Brisbane holds that title! =D>Pete_09 wrote:Best game of footy I have ever seen!!!

Stewie the upset of the season was when the Lions beat the bombers in Melbourne 4 weeks ago. The Lions were $12 & the bombers were $1.01.
Yesterday was a big upset though esp considering we were down by so much.
I always thought Port had a chance against Sydney but I still tipped the swans. Not sure why they got Tippet as they didnt need him & he actually might stuff there structure up but time will tell

Howdy folks
It's me, King
Reporting and at your service live from my 9th level penthouse room in melbs.
Yes I'm here again for work and high level national discussions during the day. To relax I skipped out of my conference a bit early and enjoyed a bevvie at a local bar before retiring to my room. Whilst waiting for my room service dinner to arrive i just watched the 6pm news - trash I know - but a treasure trove of disaster stories for the AFL.
How's about vossie bein pissed off Melbourne might receive an extra draft pick?

) basketcase league! More evidence I'm right and all you AFL suckers are so, so so so, so so so so so...so wrong :D :>:: :D Eat shiiiiit bitches! =D> :D =D>
oh and by the way they also talked about the pinching incident again
apparently its "quite a serious allegation"!!! :_<> Lordy lordy my this is a strange strange old town!
But please, keep to the lopsided issue folks :>::

:_<> Ahhh I think this is Vossie referring quite rightly and accurately to King Eliagh's (yours trulyVossie aka AFL legend wrote:"I find it disturbing to be brutally honest,'' Voss told reporters on Tuesday.
"We've just come out of the greatest compromised draft in the last two or three years. Our teams that have been struggling through that time have received no leg-up whatsoever and all of a sudden we find out at the back of that compromised draft that apparently priority picks are now back on the table.
"If that is the case then I think quite rightly our football club (brissie) should be asking the same question as well as Port, Western Bulldogs and a few other teams
oh and by the way they also talked about the pinching incident again
But please, keep to the lopsided issue folks :>::

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Yes scroll back and you'll see an official 5 teams listed...quite some time back. Those five teams are still shiiithouse and looking the goods to be the bottom five in the comp, even though it seems the basketcase league is growing exponentially this season. Dont worry phelpsy, I'll keep reporting and keep you up to date mate. Its pretty simple though. The comp has a large and increasing group of teams who fundamentally dont have what it takes to compete at this level.Phelpsy wrote:Who is actually in this basket case league ?? Re: Options for a lopsided comp
So Brisbane who have beaten two top 4 sides isn't competitive ?
Veni, vidi, vici
Re: Options for a lopsided comp
King-Eliagh wrote:A basketcase team is one that cant get more than 1 win against legitimate league teams within the first half of the season and in that time cops numerous thrashings i.e. melb brissy gc and gws of the AFL.
So based on this the suns and Brisbane are not basket case league clubs ...Brisbane have beaten Geelong and essendon.
Veni, vidi, vici
