Not at all, like I posted earlier, the fucked up AFL chose more $$$ over improved coverage in Sydney and Brisbane. As I've shown in TFC, AFL games broadcast prime time can and have indeed outrated NRL games.King-Eliagh wrote:Isnt the reason they wont be showing AFL on friday nights because it would be absurd to take on rugby league in sydney?Beaussie wrote:Huh?
Friday night footy in prime time would be great too (probably wont happen now though as the AFL has made it clear that wasn't a priority for them, preferring money over better coverage with Channel 9's bid).
Comon beaussie say its so

Eddie is doing what is best for the Southern and Western AFL States. He knows that promoting the game in the North is a waste of time. The AFL should start looking after their local members and stop sucking up to the Northern States who are so lost in this NRL shit!

We are a foundation club with more history than you johnny come lately Alberton wharfies. We've paid our fair share of license fees over the years despite being a foundation club. Go figure.
Meanwhile it is apparent we have more success on the field and off the field when compared with the Power. When was the last finals match sellout for the Power?

BeAmerican who care how many people go the game! It is easier to watch it live on TV. At the end of the day it comes to who is the Premiers, not how many were there at the stadium! It wont be long before the Ca Swannies have 3,000 at their games as the eastern suburbs yup supporters will get tired of the weekly losses...aka early 1990s all over again!
