Improved Effort from the Irish But Still Not Good Enough

Post by Beaussie »

Well the paddies certainly did seem to be more focused than the first test. Still in the end the Aussies were just to fast, skillful and tough for the Irish lads. How about Johnson's coathanger? Was good to see the Irish fire up in the second half and make it somewhat of a contest. In the end though, once again they just weren't good enough.

I wonder how the Aussies will be received in Ireland next year.

Great crowd in attendance at the Telstra Dome too. Over 45,000. The IR series is most definately here to stay.

The Irish need to toughen up. For the most part this year, they looked like pussies who'd be better suited to soccer.

Eire were'nt too bad in the 2nd test but they could've been better, we will have a new coach next series and im hoping he will do a better job than the previous. ireland need to get physical, there are players who have what it takes and in the next test i want them to get physical, ball skills, passing, shooting e.t.c

as for johnson i really have no respect for him at all, but hey possibility is he was malnourished as a child and he likes to take it out on everyone, eejit.

oz were good ball skills, passing, tackling e.t.c good side, pity the dirty play had to come into the spotlight.

That's if we have another series. From what I've heard, the whinging Irish want to see the series scrapped after what happened in Melbourne.

they had every right to complain, that coathangar was totally shameful to say the least, the Eire int players have to work on monday and dont comensation for injuries such as that. i dont mind both teams gettin physical not at all, but when oz players think they can use violence against opposition players it just goes to show. johnson got his just desserts in the end *%#*%&@@*& bastard.

next series will be something to look forward to

though ask yourself this, if oz had to play a diffrent country in int rules, would they have behaved the same way as they did toward the irish? what some oz bigots fail to realise is that while they have fun enjoying directing racial and sick jokes about the great hunger, they forget about about how much the irish have contributed to oz, if it wasnt for the irish half the pubs wouldnt exist **** various other things the irish contributed to oz. they put alot of work into oz to make what it is today.

be grateful and next time all you young ozzies want to make sick irish hunger jokes, think about what the irish have contributed and done for oz, you ungrateful eejits.

You make it out as if the Johnson incident was intentional. I don't think that was the case at all. I'd hardly say the Aussies were violent, physical yes, but is'nt that what all us footy fans want and expect.
