They won 7 of their last 12 games, including Adelaide and WC

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Actually Xman they played wce 13 games ago not 12 but let's not harp on about your maths for the umpteenth time. Just to be clear, in 23 rounds of footy, yes the entire comp, brissie only won 2 games against teams who were not utter basketcases
but yes Xman they were the standout of the basketcases

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
I see the AFL played 2 matches this weekend which didnt include any of those teams playing it out this year for the basketcase cup...
By chance or design folks?
My thoughts? Design, no doubts about it.

So far 2 games and 2 upsets. You wouldn't want that to continue it might upset your basket case theory.King-Eliagh wrote:I see the AFL played 2 matches this weekend which didnt include any of those teams playing it out this year for the basketcase cup...By chance or design folks?

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
pies it seems you dont even know what the basketcase cup is, or who is involved in it. Neither of the two games involved teams who are basketcases.
The basketcase league is not a theory, it began in 2012 and is quite simply the duddest bottom 6 the AFL has EVER HAD
They're in a 'league of their own' so to speak...

So a team that wins the preseason cup, and beats a number of good teams on the way, is a dud?King-Eliagh wrote:pies it seems you dont even know what the basketcase cup is, or who is involved in it. Neither of the two games involved teams who are basketcases.

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
The basketcase league of 2013 may differ slightly than that of 2012. As was the case in 2012, the basketcase league can really only b identified after atleast 3 or 4 matches in...at least. In 2012 yours truly identified the league veeeerrrrrrry ealy on, which was quite astounding considering 6 teams were identified and, low and behold, those 6 teams turned out to be, yes its true, the duddest bottom 6 in the history of the AFL.
We'll see how this season fairs up but seeing as your quite cocky there xman why not join us and chime in with your early picks for who's in he basketcase league of 2013?

The lions beat 2 top 4 teams and won ten games. That was better than 4 NRL teams...
So the NRL had 4 dud teams out of 16?

Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Your all over the place on this one KE first you told us that the basket cases were basket cases because they had no chance of improvement for a long time. Now your saying that the basket case sides can't really be identified until round 4. Your a better troll than that KE lift your game.King-Eliagh wrote:The basketcase league of 2013 may differ slightly than that of 2012. Re: Options for a lopsided comp
Well well well.
The suns beat a decent side in Stkilda last night =D>
The giants challenged the premiers in the swans for much of the game =D> Ch7 game day talking up the giants big time claiming theyll be dominating the battle of the bridge within a few years
Bulldogs smashed the fancied lions in front of a pretty healthy 25k
5 of 6 games in AFLs first round have been upsets!
Already the AFL far more even than last year. =D> =D>
