There's millions who care about it outside of sydney, and proof of that  The growth in marngrook around the world correlates perfectly with the growth in Australian expats. I've had first hand experience playing o/s, I know the deal better than you would cos me boy

The countries around the world are already preparing for the 2014 AFL International Cup.
Each competition sees the number and quality of the teams rise significantly.
Divisional structure ensures balanced competition and the spread of international competition around the world ensures that teams are prepared . The new Asian AFL joins AFL Europe and North American competitions in providing intermediate competition.

So far media coverage has been as scant a rl wc outside the fishbowl of Sydney, but that should change as knowledge of the International Cup grows. At least we don't have the totally unbalanced situation of the rlwc whereby a minor sport in NZ take on the combined might of NSW & Qld players imported mainly from NZ and the Pacific. Where other pretenders are represented by a fast imploding league in Northern England or where in typical rl form the French are still blaming their demise on the WW VIchy forces.

Yes, looking forward to the next International Cup.

why no
of course not

That's not what I'm saying is it.
You grossly overestimate the interest in the rlwc and you underestimate the growth and interest in Australian Football around the world especially when rl is experiencing major problems overseas.

You. if you think anyone outside of the fishbowl of Sydney cares about the rlwc.

Australian Football is seeing interesting and positive developments across the world.
From what I can see rl is seeing a few setbacks across the world.

3 Million English will watch the RLWC final .... thats without England in it
5 Million will watch it if the Lions make the final

300 people in England watched the final of the ..... fumble bumbleball junket for ex pat fatties cup

Only 3-5 million for a sports pinnacle in its home country with a population well more than double of Australia's?

Rl really is the outcast sport of England.
