To me beaussie you're proving even more interest out there in the rugby league metropolis of sydney. Thankyou for agreeing with me. Sheesh so you're saying people are snapping up tickets before they even know their team is playing! Now thats commitment to your team!

Rugby league is definitely on its way out isnt it

This has been another truthful post from respected prophet...and teacher :) KE. =P~

Both NRL preliminary finals crowds this week will be smaller than St Kilda vs Sydney last week at the MCG.

Oh and fancy Parramatta earning the minor premiership, yet still being unable to sellout their pissy stadium that only holds 20,000 for their first final. That's commitment alright.

So are you saying the NRL is dying beaussie? Even though it appears to be growing?

The signs aren't good when:

1. the minor premiers Parramatta can't sellout their tiny stadium which only holds 20,000
2. the Brisbane Broncos can only attract 25,000 for a home final (stadium capacity 52,000)
3. a semi final in Sydney sold 2,500 tickets with 20,000 free tickets being handed out, yet a crowd of only 16,000 turned up
4. TV ratings are down for the NRL finals with the AFL finals rating better even in so-called rugby league heartlands.
5. embarrassingly low crowd expected for Parramatta vs Nth QLD at Telstra Stadium

Yep, certainly positive signs of growth for the NRL. NOT

I shall write half of that off as "wolfy" talk. Seeming you have cried wolf so many times its a standard to write off atleast half of what you say beaussie.

Now you have basically used the old crowds angle. Isnt it true that the nrl crowd average has risen this season beaussie? I'm sorry but this proves more than anything you've said about rugby league dying. :o

Typical that you wouldn't address the worrying signs for the NRL I listed above. You've got blinkers on and refuse to look at the real picture. Oh well.

Look if you're not going to provide links then why should anyone bother. Beaussie you have lied and admitted it countless times before. Or better put you've admitted it on the phone to me but claimed it was an honest mistake on the boards.

Haven't lied about anything above. Those facts I listed are common knowledge. Ask any leaguie and they'll admit it, despite hating the fact that it is the reality.

You don't get the Sydney papers do you? That would explain your ignorance here.

Did you even follow the links. You're such a lazy merkin. Don't expect me to do the work for you. The links are there. If you choose to ignore them, well you really have no credibility or right to dispute what I stated.
