Well i do wander about your memberships that keep rising when your crowds average dropped 3k last year.....................................mmmm a bit of fudgy fudgy going on here guys......

How is this possible, 300k less fans over the entire year but more members and also more games played......................... :?: :?: ?

2012 6238876 198 games played
2011 6525071 187 games played

2012 is the lowest total attendance since 2006

2006 6204056 176 games played

Yeah all does not make sense now does it Xman............

NRL on the UP...
AFL stagnated and going backward since 2006................now there is some perspective for ya.......................  =D> =D> =D>
Hmm lets see, double the amount of games in played Tasmania, NSW, and QLD. I wonder why their crowd average dropped

The fact memberships rose in a year where every game live on TV was introduced was amazing. Already memberships are 40k ahead of last year. That's about 6 NRL clubs total isnt it?

Firstly, what a surprise when its shown the AFL have increased by more members you resort to the fudge claim!

Secondly, since 2005 the NRL attendance average has actually gone down! Yet their memberships have increased by a guzzilion percent!

Using your logic.......

Not very good at this are you?

Lets examine this shall we

AFL memberships 2007 were 532k. This year they were 708k. So an increase of 176k

NRL memberships This year were 204k. So unless they had less than 28k members in 2007 Dave the AFL have increase by more members.

Yes a rise of 176k..............................................fudgy fudgy...................and a fall in crowd numbers of 3k across the board and 300k less fans through the turnstiles.

FUDGY FUDGY is clear for everyone to see Xman thx for making it clear as day.............. =D> =D>
since 2005 the NRL attendance average has actually gone down!

Not very good at this are you?
hes not very good at it ?

the NRL crowds have gone down by............ 44 fans a game
the VFL

what a dickhead ....

the VFL had 532K members in 2007.... the NRL about 80K
thats nearly 7 times our tally

in 2012 its 708K .... to 210K ( updated list for the NRL is on these pages )
thats 3.5 times our tally

in 2017 the VFL which has reached saturation might be at 750K
the NRL will be at 400K
less then half .... 8-[

in 10 years the NRL will have added ova 320K members to their tally
the VFL ... a tick ova 200K

NRL... WINNING
Percentage comparisons are stupid

of course they are when they don't win you the argument

we all know VFL memberships are a crock eels

many clubs with 40 to 45K members
have average crowds of 30 to 35K

the crows have ova 50K members ... yet only averaged 34K

its
gold fish & baby memberships .... for $20, where you get a fridge magnet & a bumper sticker that makes up a very high % of VFL memberships

you don't see this is the NRL
Broncos 26K members .... 33K average crowds
Bulldogs 13K members .... 24K average crowds
Tigers 10K members ..... 17K crowds
Parra 11K members .... 17K crowds

our memberships aren't a rort ... end of
End of what? The AFL have a higher proportion of followers who are members. There's a surprise!

the VFL have a higher proportion of ..... cats & 3 week old infants as members
smoke n mirrors , its the name of the game in the VFL
