AFL Media income: 154.2 million (139 million in tv, 12 million in new media, and 3.2 million in radio, 10 million in naming rights)
AFL Income less media: 178 million

NRL Income in 2011: 170 million
NRL Media Income in 2011: 112.16 million (83 million in tv, 15 million new media and naming rights, 14 million NZ, $160k radio)
NRL income less media: 57.84 million

*Notes: NRL media income includes the 500 million paid for tv rights on the assumption there was no contra payment. I havent found any reports of this. Previous NRL deals were for 6 years, not 5, although this years NRL NZ rights were a one off to bring the rights inline with the rest of the NRL media rights negotiations.

Assuming no changes in AFL/NRL non media income streams at presently reported figures:

AFL Total Income 2012-2016: 2.062 Billion
AFL annual Income 2012-2016: 412.54 million

NRL Total Income 2013-2017: 1.462 Billion
NRL Annual Income 2013-2017: 292.4 million

The AFL would thus have an income stream up to 600 million higher over 5 years, or 120 million annually. Its worth noting the AFL deal ends the year before the NRL deal does, and the the NRL figure for the next 5 years has not had the 90 million advance payment for rights reduced accordingly.

Can you explain your NRL non media amount of 435 million Dave? Which according to your calculations is 87 million a year. Correct me if I am wrong but I am getting 170 million (current total) - 83 million (AUS TV) - 14 million (NZ TV) - 15 million (Naming/online) - 1.5 million (radio according to dave) = 56.5 million a year or 282.5 million over 5 years.
