50% of the Raiders budget is handouts from the NRL and state government. Their earnings from attendance, memberships and sponsorship must be miniscule.

Well they are the smallest team out of both the AFL and the nRL. What sponsors would want to be associated with a club that barely even has a 10k average crowd and practically no FTA games despite being finalists? Well done nRL for remembering the small clubs like the lil Raiders

I expect most of the small vic clubs to about break even. Just the Roos to go now and I expect them to make a small profit. Out of the Non vic clubs only Brisbane and Port will struggle. I expect both GWS and GC to both make small losses (but I could be very wrong lol).
