But seriously chaps, it revolts me how much research the two of you have done on what is suuuuch a boring topic. The horrible part is you guys arent getting paid for this rubbish job you are both doing

Words of the Fin Review, not mine. Still, if you'd rather be in the dark regarding this sort of thing then you're hardly in a position to offer comment on the issue. The only thing you have to contribute is juvenile insults, no rebuttal or anything.King-Eliagh wrote:Jesus! You two (beaussie and dr nic) sound like the biggest pair of twits i've heard around these parts in yonks! If only dizzy's were still here to read this tripe, but unfortunately i think he's passed on due to severe boredom after reading beaussies shmack on crowds for the umpteenth time.
But seriously chaps, it revolts me how much research the two of you have done on what is suuuuch a boring topic. The horrible part is you guys arent getting paid for this rubbish job you are both doing. My advice for the both of you is to take a cold shower, hop out, put the towel into your mouth and bite hard. Then take two bricks, one in each hand, spread your legs wide, and with all your might slam the bricks together around your testicles.

Exactly what i predicted. No rebuttal but only trash talk, mainly because you don't have a hope of forming an argument.King-Eliagh wrote:OK you pair of puss infested league haters listen up closely now.
It doesnt matter what you say because league is flourishing. It is a multi million dollar industry that attracts thousands upon thousands of australians each week. This to me says it is successful. And really everything you say may be true, but to tell you the truth, yes, i'd rather be in the dark about some fin review because you know what? League will still be alive and flourishing after you dr nic have composed into a smelly heap six feet under that worms would rather steer well clear of.
Rugby league being robbed blind and me just sitting hear and copping it?I dont give two f****s because the code is doing just fine, crowds are up, the skill level continually increases, and so does the money. And once more League will still be alive and flourishing after you dr nic have composed into a smelly heap six feet under that worms wouldn't dare vommit on.
So in summation you two genius analysts could better use your skills counting how many shits you drop in a week, weighing them, preserving them until sunday, and then consuming it all with a litre of goats piss while you read the sunday telegraph sports section and begin to form more of these shit infested views on the state of rugby league. :>::

Is the decline of rugby league in Victoria conspiracy theory bullshit as you put it? How about the code being virtually non-existent in WA and SA since the demise of the Western Reds and Adelaide Rams? Open your eyes KE and look at the big picture outside of NSW and QLD. Not a very healthy state of affairs that's for sure.King-Eliagh wrote:Seriously, its not dying. But go ahead give me more of this conspiracy theory bullshit you and your AFL chums have dreamt up over the past ten years, its priceless!

Orange, Tamworth, Dubbo, Rockhampton and many more just to name a few major regional clubs that have folded. I'll compose a more substantial list to whet your appetite later, but in the meantime perhaps you could compile a list of all the Aussie Rules clubs that have been sprouting up all over NSW and Qld in the last decade or so.King-Eliagh wrote:So dr nic share withl me some of your knowledge...Which rugby league clubs are dying and where?

Your parents going to the local rugby league game in Lithgow on occassion does not constitute the true state of affairs for rugby league in country NSW. As for half the town heading out on a Sunday, yeah whatever.King-Eliagh wrote:Infact in the town of blackheath about two hours west of syd the rugby union club folded and the leagues clubs are still strong. I am also very aware of how well rugby league is going in lithgow, apparently half the town heads out on sunday to watch. s for other areas i know in the northwest of nsw rugby league is flourishing, and AFL is floundering, or to better put it hasnt even begun.
I didn't realise Melbourne as the second largest city in Australia loved rugby league. In fact I thought it was quite the opposite.King-Eliagh wrote:They tried it (barely tried it) and it didnt pick up so they thought stiff shit we already have a strangle hold over the two largest cities in the country and the majority of the eastern seaboard. That'll do us.
I bet you were saying that 10 years ago about Aussie Rules and Brisbane, and you would have been made to eat your words.King-Eliagh wrote:No i couldnt be bothered researching that. I'm fully aware and quite enjoy seeing the AFL sprouting in nsw. Its a great sport as i've said. But you are very fooled if you think it's gunna take over rugby league. It just wont...plain and simple. League will always live. I cant really give you more, time will tell you your answer there dc nic, as your brain definitely cant.
League's venture into Melbourne has been an absolute disaster, headed by none other than John Ribot. It is a classic example of News Ltd vested interests, and millions and millions of Rugby League's own money is being poured into Victoria at the expense of league heartlands. They were handed a premiership and still cannot get more than 8,000 ex-pats and islanders on a regular basis. All this is happening whilst heartland areas, such as the central coast, gold coast, and rural areas are being told to get stuffed.Beaussie wrote:I didn't realise Melbourne as the second largest city in Australia loved rugby league.
