Ouch rejected. Have you ever played that game with one of your kids when you steal their nose by pretending that it is your thumb played between your fingers. I think this situation is similar to that in that it was like stealing a little kids nose running around with him chasing you. You always give it back usually to happy smiles. But in this case just when the kid is happy for about 5 seconds his nose (Izzy) is quickly stolen a second time by a drunk uncle (Union) who then eats the pretend nose (pure nastyness).
4 years with RU not sure if he is comming back now.

NRL salary cap auditor Ian Schubert's approval of a deal for Israel Folau to join Parramatta next season has come too late, with the former AFL convert turning his back on a return to the code to take up a lucrative offer in rugby union.
After weeks of protracted negotiations between the Eels and the NRL, Fairfax Media understands that Schubert had agreed on Wednesday to register a contract for Folau if he accepted a $3 million, four-year deal tabled by the club.
It has also been revealed that NRL interim chief executive Shane Mattiske had met representatives of Folau before his decision to quit AFL and Mattiske has since been helping the Eels to address salary cap issues.
However, the 23-year-old former Test and Origin star stunned Parramatta coach Ricky Stuart and other Eels officials on Friday when he told them he had decided to accept a bigger offer in rugby union, believed to be from a wealthy French club.

so after our nrl members claimed folau's ations would prove to be a kick in the teeth for the AFL and a boon for the nRL in sydney he goes and joins RU in a far better deal

now he's shown up the nrl as being both incompetent and poor. nice one izzy!
He has not shown up the NRL, he has been shown the door after a long and extensive interview. He(Falou) does not deserve any special treatment after walking out on the code. And this is coming from a Parra supporter.

Screw Falou, he thinks he can walk straight back into a code after turning his back on us..............yeah there is the door don't let it hit you on the way out buddy.
he sure has. He's turned the NRLs 'party' into a slap in the face. =D>

"We talk about incidents and we talk about what players can do better themselves to stomp it out. A lot of players don't report it.

THAT is what I mean! It's still there!
1. How can the AFL act on incidents that arent reported? They have a very robust program to deal with these issues but if the players who are vilified wont use it what can the AFL do?

2. He said they are winning the war against racism. How are the NRL going to win when they let MANY racist fans off without any consequences?
Xman compare NRL with AFL and it is a no constest, NRL miles ahead on the multicultural front.

Being half aussie half Asian it is clear to me that striker is onto something, although NRL is miles ahead of the AFL there is still no doubt about racism is alive and well on both sides of the argument. But we should stop playing the victim card because Australians have had enough of being made out to be the villain and it actually makes the situation worse.
Being more multicultural has nothing to do with being less racist. Just look at London.

In fact if you look at the actions against racist behaviour this year you will see the AFL act swiftly while the NRL are sitting on their hands ignoring it.

It probably would be actually. Which code was it that brought in a gay male cheerleader to try and attract more homosexual fans again.... :-k

Oh yeah, the nRL's Penrith Panthers. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/a ... 1118869238
