Barry's king hit was anything but a tactic. He had anger problems and this was well known within the football community.

Hoppa putting his finger to dirty use was a tactic and he even admitted it.
So you concede it could happen?

Well done stewie, you are at least a point above xman in seeing that these things can happen.
Could with an anger outburst. However this would not be a tactic as was the point that you and KE were trying to make. Barry is now retired anyway after playing in 3 grand finals with "tactical knockouts".
The bolded bit I agree and you could also say that if someone needed big money and quickly, they could also be paid off to snot someone?

No. They would not want to forever tarnish their reputation just for a bit of extra cash.

Some people will do anything for money, even sportsmen.

You get a bad gambling sportsman who owes alot of money to some not so nice people, it could happen.

It's not the only thing ffs, what gave you that idea?

And if a player was in that predicament, who's to say he was retiring anyway, he could be in his first year and let the money go to his head and got in too deep.

I would if I watched your game, but I don't so I can't. Doesn't mean it can't or won't happen.

Most games with rules have a hard enough time policing everything, I couldn't imagine what it would be like for a "sport" with no rules.

What do the Judiciary do, have a piss up each week at their annual get together?
Going on the judiciary rulings this year you're prob spot on there parra

So naive, so blind, so believing that AFL players are god like and couldnt place a finger wrong, like our Hoppa.

Remember the AFL player aptly nicnamed 'God' anyone? Didn't he help take a few to heaven?

List the benefits OVER the AFLs current system.

All youve come up with is a player retiring in the GF and someone taking cash to king hit someone

So Abblett was of good character compared to Hoppa?

Hoppa was a bloody angel compared to Ablett. I'm pretty sure our Hoppa even went to Church

So did Ablett if you knew anything about ARs

Ablett had no issues at all as a player. His post playing days have involved some dependence behaviour.

Hoppa was banned for violating multiple people on the field wasn't he?

We're talking about character here thats carried on and off the field. And if i recall correctly Ablett was as dirty as they come on the field.

You said "was"

Hoppa will always be known as a violator. Ablett was an excellent role model as a player but ran off the rails after he retired.
