The money doesn't go back to the clubs though. The "leagues clubs" are like a separate business.

Broncos .... Australias wealthiest Football organisation
How have I ignored them when I included them in my comment fwit? #-o

.
ah ....no ya didn't d head ...... according to you
the broncos made 34m and spent 32m
but in actual fact , the Broncos made 68M football & gaming combined ( not 34m) and spent 63M of it ( not 32m)

when it suits giggleball clubs .. they announce all of their revenue to look like big shots
when NRL clubs are shown to have far bigger combined revenues
flogballer fans go....ahhhhh..... ummm.. lets just talk about the football operations then 8-[

NRL are run totally different to AFL clubs , there prime objective is to put A winning team on the field , Its not to make money and they don't receive handouts from the governing body just to keep afloat  why would the NRL be supplying millionaire, movie stars or wealthy league clubs with handouts.
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

Thats a bit ignorant. Both NRL and AFL clubs prime objective is to put a winning team on the field. They all recieve handouts for the governing body to help pay costs. The millionaire bit is a bit confusing at the end there, not sure what you are trying to say.

Every nRL team gets a handout from the ARLC of around 4m per year. As pies said, every team aims for a winning team. If AFL clubs were after profit why would teams like Collingwood earn 75m per year and spend 74m? :-k

They plan to essentially spend what they earn, or maybe save a small amount for a rainy day in the future.

Seriously, you have NFI! #-o

the NRL hand out 1 lot of money .. once ... same amount to all clubs .. thats it.

the VFL hand out 1 lot of money to all clubs to pay their salary cap
then they give some more to some clubs to pay a higher salary cap
then they give others more because they're struggling
then they give others preferential draft picks
then they ignore tanking allegations
then they ignore salary cap rorting allegations

the NRLs handout equals a major proportion of an nRL yearly revenue. About 30% of the Raiders operating budget.

The only AFL teams that rely on the AFL for funds are those that cannot compete with rising operational costs associated with a more professional league.

How is a full investigation in to tanking "ignoring"?

Preferential draft picks are part of establishing a new team. They are withdrawn once the team can field a competitive team.

The AFL have acted on salary cap cheating many times so cut the BS.

Yeah, asking Raiderdave to prove something is a little silly. Because as we all know, Raiderdave pulls his "information" right out of his arse. Hence why he has zero credibility in his drivel.

Why would Canberra need you or anyone else to speak up for them, Raider knows his club like you would know your own, what point are you trying to make when the Raiders have a least 4 fully licensed clubs?
